Support NeoGAF

I am currently learning beginner java... and have absolutely no idea on how to construct a java graphical user interface. I do not get the how ActionPerformer, ActionListern, Contruct... etc that are needed to create a simple java GUI. Can somebody write me a simple code that will have a java window pop up with a button that will say "Hello world" when clicked ? I am very angry and depressed that I cannot even get a simple java window to pop up >_<
