A friend of mine got to see him play with his band last year and said it was a life-changing experience. Infinite jealousy.

You mean the jazz shows he puts on in LA when he's not filming?

It is pretty amazing. He has a nice voice, and for the non-jazz crowd he tells stories and jokes from his film career. Also walks around and meets the audience, takes pictures, etc. As someone who's worshiped him since watching Jurassic Park as a child it was kinda mind=blowing tbh.

I would post the pic of us meeting him, but I'm a little leery of that floating around Gaf lol.

Death Wish Goldblum is the best Goldblum.

film snob.

Also, was he in Manhattan or Annie Hall as the guy on the phone practicing his mantra?

Oh, and he was great in The Right Stuff.

I listened to him on NPR talk about how he grew a beard for a role and it was just...incredible to listen to lol. Apparently he can grow a legendary beard, I've actually not seen it though.

Edit: Just saw it. I remember now. He talked about how he seriously did no artificial coloring whatsoever, his beard hair just grows gray while his mustache and soul patch remains black lol. He also likened how attentive you must be and how time consuming the process of growing a beard is to raising a pet dog haha. Made this real quick, enjoy:

You guys should meet him. Nice dude and dresses so fucking sharp.

He really does seem like he'd be a really nice guy to meet, someone I imagine would always have the time and inclination to at least smile and wave if you saw him on the street and said hi.

Yeah he plays (or used to play) at the rockwell in LA. Afterwards he would chat with the people.

Love Goldblum. Saw him live at Old Vic with Kevin Spacey and he was great.

Best thing was at end taking now he delivered some classic Goldblum and seduced the entire front rows before affably bobbing off with perfectly exaggerated wave of his hands.

Speaking of which I'd probably pay good money just to watch him waggle his hands about.

Met him one time a few years ago at a jazz bar he was playing piano at. Was taking acting classes next door and a friend introduced me. He was a pretty good player actually, despite the fact that he'd obviously had a few drinks and was glowing. Really quite a gentleman though. Very gracious and humble. The kind of charisma where you feel like you're a long lost friend.

My mom had an unnatural obsession with Jeff Goldblum. For awhile I thought he might actually be my biological father.

If anybody seems Jeff again, make sure to ask him where he was on the evening of May 9th 1980.

Bryan Callen dated a woman who was an ex of Goldblum's. She said Goldblum was hung like her forearm.

Well, there it is.
