The 10,000 deaths is definitely terrible and easily the worst part of this. But when you hear about someone like Jet Li being possibly dead you feel as if it's a member of your own family, because you're used to seeing this person on TV and in the movies and you love his work. I'm praying that he is found quickly, because I don't know how I'd react to another celebrity death. Two weeks ago Dimebag, today Jet Li?

Jet Li isn't dead, it just says that they lost communication with him after the quake. This is extremely normal when a disaster of this magnitude hits. Most of the article talks about the incident itself as opposed to Jet Li, since they lost communication with him there really isn't much to report at all really. I doubt he's dead, it's just a communication mess out there right now.
