Winona: Mel ... Loathsome Homophobe, Anti-Semite

In an interview with GQ, Winona recalls, "I remember, like, fifteen years ago, I was at one of those big Hollywood parties. And he was really drunk. I was with my friend, who's gay. He made a really horrible gay joke. And somehow it came up that I was Jewish. He said something about 'oven dodgers,' but I didn't get it. "

Ryder said at the time she had no clue what Mel was referring to, adding, "He's anti-Semitic and he's homophobic. No one believed me!"

Sorry but I'm just not buying it, it's her word against his. I would need to see more evidence before I would believe that Mel Gibson is anti-semitic.

How can you be "awesome" when your "craziness" involves hatred of several subsets of human beings based on nothing but their race, preference, and/or religion?

What exactly is your definition of those two words?

But at the same time, Winona throwing this out there as she's trying to become more active again is a bit suspect...

He is like a old dude who hates everything and is racist yet he has some awesome in him cause of the shit he did. Lethal Weapon, Braveheart and other badass movies.
