Good for Winona! standing up for her religion, I'm sick and tired of seeing Hollywood being controlled by drunk, Christian, bully nut jobs!

Hold on, am I to believe that Jews control the media?

preposterous!

Mel Gibson should do his next movie with a jew who is a gay. His Love interest should be a black woman.

if what I'm reading is correct,

News Corp. President Peter Chernin (Jewish),

Paramount Pictures Chairman Brad Grey (Jewish),

Walt Disney Co. Chief Executive Robert Iger (Jewish),

Sony Pictures Chairman Michael Lynton (surprise, Dutch Jew),

Warner Bros. Chairman Barry Meyer (Jewish),

CBS Corp. Chief Executive Leslie Moonves (so Jewish his great uncle was the first prime minister of Israel),

MGM Chairman Harry Sloan (Jewish)

NBC Universal Chief Executive Jeff Zucker (mega-Jewish).

SAG President Alan Rosenberg (take a guess).

Entertainment super-agent Ari Emanuel (Jew with Israeli parents)

Hollywood is all about connections. I've learned that first-hand. that kind of concentrated power in a community unsurprisingly results in the strong presence of Jewish actors and actresses. Hell, it ain't based on pure talent.

That's power you can't buy.

I give credence to this because it takes a special type of batshit crazy to think up the "oven-dodger", and Mel combined forced oral sex and arson as a threat/insult in the past...so yeah he has the drive and the skill to think up something that stupid.

whenever someone says something to the effect of "Jews are in control of most of the media" a bigoted statement usually follows. Like "AND THATS WHATS WRONG WITH AMERICUH"

Still though, I can't help but be surprised that the likes of Jake Gylenhaal are jewish.

That took me a second ... but holy fuck. Wow ... I can't adequately describe how terrible I find that slur right now. Holy fuck. :(

I have never heard of an oven dodger before. As a Jew, I am impressed with hearing a new Jew joke. Way to go Mel. Your insane drunken rants never fail to impress.

On another note, Ryder needs more work despite her being insane in her own way. She is awesome. And Mel just needs to keep directing.

there was this thing called the holocaust you might have heard about

edit: and yeah what's with the topic "jewish actress" ?

Probably context. I mean, if I hadn't known Ryder was Jewish, I'd be wondering what the hell he meant by "oven dodger".

This is how I feel, and not only that, I feel the story is suspect. Apparently Winona didn't even know what the term meant yet she remembers the whole incident from 15 years ago from some house party.

With that being said, Mel is a loony bin.
She implied she didn't get at first. Of course she was going to be thinking about it afterwards though, Mel made gay jokes in front of her gay friend.

Once the full realization hit (I suspect it was quite soon afterwards) ... who the hell would forget something like that :lol

And it's not like it's anti-Semitism anti-Semitism.

Ah, so making a shocking reference to the Nazi deathcamp furnaces isn't real anti-semitism. Thanks for making that clear.

I'd really like to see the GQ issue and know if they specifically asked her about her interactions with Mel or if she just brought it up randomly. Celebrity interviews don't normally veer off like that, even if someone is trying to promote their work.

The Mel apologists are annoying, as usual.

Where the hell are the facebook groups boycotting his movies of 100,000 and more.

But no, they make a movie of "The Golden Compass" and 100,000+ people are eager to join up to boycott a movie b/c it's going to 'destroy' christianity.

Alcohol cant bring out what never existed in the first place, it brings out what's already there. All this racism from Gibson puts a taint on his directorial efforts, especially Passion, which I rather liked.

a lot of hollywood people are closet racist imo, you see more interrace relationships in movies then their real lives.

the oscars should cave in with all these phonies and amoral degenerates in it.

Fighting polar bears destroy Christianity? Christianity is behind global warming? The pieces of the puzzle are all coming together now.

I think the bad guys in that book/movie series are a thinly veiled expy of the Catholic Church.

I always think that is bull shit. Alcohol brings out an immediate emotional response, with very little logical thought behind it. It is like saying that if you remove the ability to reason from the equation, that is who you truly are. Now if you have a history of racist rants while being drunk, then it very well may be the case that you are a racist and you are simply capable of hiding it while you are sober because it benefits you. But being drunk does not bring out the true you.

It's the kind of thing you'd expect out of Gibson, but that she waited 15 years to publicise it is suspect.

We are never going to see that Viking movie are we? :(

Nope. :(

I would have liked to have seen that, but I really think any good will he had is gone by now, and deservedly so.

We'll see how The Beaver does, but I'm not expecting much and I sure as hell won't see it.
