Vice President Joe Biden told a small group of reporters Monday that he is going to run for president in 2020.

"Yeah, I am. I am going to run in 2020," Biden said when asked if he would run for office again.

When asked what role he would run for, Biden responded: "For president. And also, what the hell man, anyway."

The vice president was asked if he was kidding about running for president, but he didn't seem to back down.

"I'm not committing not to run. I'm not committed to anything. I learned a long time ago, fate has a strange way of intervening," Biden said.

Sold. Fuck, I'll start phone banking now.

He should have run this year- he probably ends up beating Hillary and would have been a much better candidate in that he probably would have campaigned and won in PA and Ohio.

I don't know if I like him running in 2020- he's basically a runback of the Obama administration, and the Dems should be rebooting instead of retreading based on the results of the 2016 election

It would be deeply hilarious if 2020 democratic list is Biden, Clinton, and Sanders

um, no thanks.

like, joe's a cool dude, but bernie is the hero america needs.

joe is 100% establishment, and it would seem [from my canadian perspective] that america very much voted against the establishment in 2016.

I'm fine with old as dirt politicians running as long as we also get a lot of new blood tossing their hat in, too. Having primaries that aren't already down to 2-3 people before they even start would be a good thing.

And they'll have 4 years to learn what a shit idea that was.

He should have ran this year. :[
Hate to admit it... But yeah.

The true Goat would have been Warren, but it really seems like at this point she doesn't intend to aim for higher than Senator, for some reason.

Joe would do great imo vs Trump.

Bernie would be very close to 80 (Biden too, both too old)

The guy is going to be in his late 70's. No thanks.

Love Diamond Joe and all, but it's time for some fresh blood. Time to move on from the old guard.

Literally any damn person serving in office as a Dem is part of "THE ESTABLISHMENT".

Establishment and anti establishment lost all meaning this year

Establishment and anti establishment lost all meaning this year

What? No, those terms did not lose their meaning at all.

Clinton's defeat is a resounding alarm to the elite wing of the party- We don't want you anymore. No one is excited by them.

Time to move on.
