Hillary is not worse than Trump.

That being said, if either candidate wins, y'all can say goodbye to net neutrality.

I mean, the president doesn't actually pass any laws, so unless you think they'd veto something that was for net neutrality, I don't think they have as much influence as you think

That Fassbender gif is frightening.

I agree. I dont like either though

I truly dont think Trump is nearly as crazy as people think and I think hell stop saying us much stupid shit.

Hes more likely to reach across the isle as well. IMO hes a moderate faking as a conservative

He just needs to shut the fuck up sometimes

Trump has been saying stupid shit his entire life. Is he the greatest actor of our time and putting on a decades-long performance piece? Or is he, more simply, just an ignorant man?

Ya he's a new york liberal pretending to be a republican. We have seen so many signs of this which is one of the reasons GoP hardliners pushed back so much. I mean some actually think he will deport millions LOL like they actually think he can do this or will even try.

This line of thinking really confuses me. How the fuck you do even know who you're voting for then? I know a lot of people think politicians lie and run on false campaign promises all the time, but statistically politicians do fulfill -- or at least make honest efforts to fulfill -- the majority of their campaign promises. So either Trump really will work to build a wall along the border (that Mexico will pay for) and deport 11 million people, OR he won't do that any of that but who knows what his real immigration policy is since he's lying about his most prolific platform. You either know exactly what you're getting with Trump or you have no idea whatsoever.

The fact that he has dectupled down on this statement is scary enough.

It can't be done and won't be done. You cannot deport millions of people it is impossible it would be tied up in courts until the end of time if it even got that far. Securing the border is fine though and should have been done ages ago.

I think like that too.

what's wrong with Obama 2.0 outside of his drone program

Obama was a good president, but he is pushing the TTP.

I just find her faker than nicki minajs ass. I dont trust a word she says. Shes Obama 2.0 and we need somehing better then that. Unfortunately Trump is the only other choice and I dont like him either

At least Hillary doesnt incite racial violence, much as I dislike her.

Then, again, why is he running on a promise to deport 11 million people? Either he really wants to do that and you support it -- regardless of how it actually fares in reality -- or you don't think he will do it, in which case, what is his actual platform you're supporting? You'd have no idea! The only thing you have to go on is what he says he will do, which is... deport 11 million people!

Or who wants to commit war crimes against the innocent families of suspected terrorists...

BUT CLEARLY HE WAS JUST PUTTING ON AN ACT TO FOOL CONSERVATIVE IDIOTS /s

I'm arguing over things he's actively done in this campaign rather than campaign promises, since the whole premise of Trump is better than Hilary seems to rely on the idea that Trump means literally nothing he actually says in terms of campaign promises

Those Kasich GIFs...

Damn it, I'm hungry.

Also, Trump vs. Hillary will be interesting. I still believe that Trump has a better chance than anyone wants to believe.

What I honestly wonder about these elections is, will we see voters come out of the woodwork to support either candidate? Not only that, but I wonder what independents will do. They likely the most important group to consider. Will the indies that went for Bernie just go for Hillary, or will they stick with the anti-establishment candidate in Trump?

I heard on Bill Maher show that Trump's strategy for courting voters with simply having someone listen to callers on talk radio all day long. That's it. No fancy polls or crazy statistical work.

Hear what these people bitching about, and then say what they want to hear.

This guy just cut right into it.

and he still finished behind Rubio lol

I love how Trump doesn't even mention his name, Kasich embarrassed himself staying in the race this long more than adding stock his name like he thought he would

Or who wants to commit war crimes against the innocent families of suspected terrorists...

Trump, if you accept his rhetoric at face value, is infinitely more scary than Hillary.

No matter how much of a corporate war hawk Hillary is, Trump has talked about bringing back water boarding, killing potentially innocent family members of suspected terrorists, punching reporters, punishing women who commit abortions, etc.

The dude is openly proposing war crimes, exclusions based on religion, etc. right on national TV. He is saying this OPENLY. What the fuck would he not due secretly???

So Hillary is a liar, but Trump is ok if you just don't believe literally anything he's ever said.

Romney won independents and still got crushed. Independents don't actually matter that much, most always vote a certain way already(always democrat or always republican)

She just likes to bomb countries and unsettle large populations.

Right, and the guy that wants religious registries, an ineffective and expensive wall across the entire Mexican border, wants to commit war crimes and force the military to enact them against their wishes and their oath of service, who wants to murder innocent family members of terrorists as a deterrent, who encourages violence against protestors, and threatened the Republican National Convention with riots and violence if they used the rules they had in place before he was even a nominee to prevent his candidacy, who said he wouldn't rule out using a Nuclear Bomb on Europe, who said his military policy would be to quote "bomb the shit out of ISIS" would absolutely never ever ever "bomb countries and unsettle large populations".

So after all this time, the Republicans succumbed to math and reality faster than Democrats. Just think about that for a second, the people that are regularly mocked for denying science and facts and being uneducated saw the impossibility of their path forward and dropped out.

Meanwhile, as we face the disastrous possibility of Trump, Democrats are too busy having a battle over ideology.

I'll never stop being amazed by Trump supporters logic in consistently spouting off these two lines side-by-side.

- Hillary is a fake, she can't be trusted.
- Trump is just pretending, he's safe.

lololol yeah I don't trust Trump at all. He will say whatever to get elected and then do whatever he wants afterwords. Almost like Hilary, who will say whatever to get elected and then do what wallstreet pays her to do afterwords.

Basically, the Republicans put their thing down, flipped it, and reversed it. Now the Democrats are lagging behind.

This is an interesting election cycle, to say the least.

Uhh yeah he is.

This is like saying "he's not racist, he only pretending to be". Uh, it's still racist to throw minorities under the bus for political gain. Just because he's not actually racist doesn't mean what he's doing is any better.

I don't want a two-faced maniac who lies constantly for months on end for political gain to be in the white house. I've no clue how you think that makes him any more trustworthy.

Bernie's been grinding an axe for decades though. Hes like a lockjaw pitbull with the shit. There's nothing like the steadfast nature of a left wing politician, they will go through hellfire and brimstone to ride for their ideals, for better or worse.

At this point I really have go wonder what Bernie plans on doing. If he plans to continue trashing Hillary he's nowhere near as smart as I initially gave him credit for. Its GE time starting today and the least he can do is not help Trump by clashing with her.

^^^^^^^

"He's not ACTUALLY racist, he's just pretending to be racist for political gain"

in the end it's the same fucking thing so who cares what's going on in his small brain

So what you are arguing is we have a bad choice and a really really really bad choice.

It's childish to think that you'll ever have a politician that you agree with on every single issue. And considering Trump is pretty demonstrably worse in nearly every other topic, and is presumably "as bad" if not almost definitively worse on that specific topic you criticized Hillary for, it's not really a choice is it. There should be an obvious preference between the two.

No, it was like Bernie saying he would make college free. It would never happen(Hillary often speaks to Bernie's promises being unrealistic) but it plays well to his base. All politicians have some platform items that are total BS to get attention. Again he is winning primaries based on his job growth, trade reform platform and name recognition as polls show that stopping illegal immigration is very low in voter priority.

Free college is a policy that can work as shown by Europe and is a sensible end goal that won't divide our country and isn't founded on hatred. Deporting 11 million people isn't.
