It’s one of the most deliriously fun and gorgeously stylish action films I’ve ever seen; what you might get if Michael Mann, Walter Hill, Buster Keaton, Bugs Bunny, Shane Black, and Wong Kar-Wai teamed up to remake The Raid. John Wick: Chapter 2 is so gleefully over the top that we officially need a new definition for “the top.”
It’s one of the best action films I’ve ever seen, so I would definitely say that it’s essential.

Raid 2 sticks out to me but John Wick was already better than that. If JW2 tops it were looking at true GOAT material.

The Raid 1 and 2 were a real treat to watch in theaters. It wasn't a packed crowd in either one, but enough people going oooh and owww to make it a more enjoyable experience.

My theatre is mean and won't put up advance tickets for it until Tuesday when next week's schedule finally gets put up. But Fifty Shades Darker, LEGO Batman, and Beauty and the Beast tickets have been on sale for a couple of weeks. You monsters, you don't know what's coming! John Wick's coming!

It's especially annoying since I have a $5 code for Atom that I'm worried will expire any minute, haha.
