Zero! The dismissal hearing is customary after the Plaintiff side rest. Then the Defendant has a choice to call for a dismissal, which they did. It was a weak augment and the Plaintiff had a great rebuttal for the dismissal.

The Judge seem to have been reading from a prepared statement in anticipation of a dismissal hearing. Which she ruled to deny the dismissal.

So the trial continues with the Defense comes up after lunch. Possibly Amber Heard testifying next.

For every US citizen and especially here on Gaf, please don’t skimp out on Jury Duty and take it seriously. You will have a great understanding and hopefully respect how the proceedings go.

Yea, sorry! That’s understandable. I should’ve mention disclaimers. During the Jury process we had quite many who could not participate due to family, disabilities and various hardships.

Edit: My pay for the 6 day trial was only $12 a day, which kinda sucks. But I was fortunately my company still paid me in full on top of the $12 of those 6 days.

I can only imagine they are just letting the defense blow their load, similar to the drugs they were pushing so hard during Depp's portion of the trial. Eventually the jury just becomes numb to it or it just isn't credible given the sheer volume of accusations and number of witnesses that should have seen something.
