Yeah, when it comes to down to actually applying the law it's not always a clear cut binary thing. And bias or preference in how to handle decisions made in court depending who the judge is at the time always plays a factor too.

In any case Amber is toast :messenger_smirking:

How many hours of the trial itself did you watch? Because I watched a lot of it, and there's no evidence to support that. He lost the tip of his finger, he was burned by a cigarette, he appears in a photo with a black eye, she admits to hitting him in audio recordings, in several other recordings he accuses her of physical violence and she never corrects him, she's not on a single audio recording accusing him of violence, he's not on a single auto recording admitting to violence, and on and on.

Didn't he also say he cut off his own finger? and his black eye photo is just as questionable as hers, isn't it? there is no evidence of either-or.

as much as I want Johnny to win, the fact that the jury could not come up with a verdict is truly telling. I am expecting Johnny to lose. I am glad that at least he brought this to light. Men facing domestic abuse from women in relationships should be taken more seriously and not to be scoffed at.

Along with women making manufactured/false allegations of sexual assault, rape, verbal and physical abuse towards men and destroying men's livelihood, physical and mental wellbeing. There is injustice towards men in the United States.

She's gone after Johnny because his lawyer comments allegedly cost her roles, which it didn't. Nothing to do with the actual abuse.

They had 2 hours to select a foreman and complete the admin.

Even if they have decided one way or the other, they would still need to discuss the award.

Not realistic to expect that to be done in that amount of time.

Imo there will be at least one idiot that will need convincing turd is a lying price of shit.

Good questions. He says the bottle cut his finger off when she threw it. She says a phone smashed his finger. Where it gets interesting is a witness claims that Amber told her Johnny cut it himself when a bottle he was playing with broke. So it would seem that she told a different story to a witness than she did in court.

And if memory serves, there are at least two photos of Depp at public appearances with a black eye. Heard was only seen in public with a mark on her face once, and that's the day she went to get the restraining order. A former TMZ guy testified on that day they knew where and when she was going to be getting that restraining order, and which side of her face to photograph. She was photographed publicly again the next day with no bruising on her face. There's also evidence she edited the photos she did have, although not all of it was admissible in court. The photo expert on the Depp team was not allowed to talk about certain aspects of color adjustment and such.

I don't blame people who haven't seen much of the trial for thinking it all sounds like a mutually toxic relationship, because I would have probably thought the same thing had I not watched the trial.

I think he tried or was in a movie after this whole thing started and they were having trouble releasing it into theaters so.....not sure how calculated it is. The movie was minamata.

I believe that she would also need a unanimous verdict from the jury. And jury also set the damages, neither have a chance in hell of getting the amount they are suing for imo. I personally think that neither will win.

But these are all incredibly minor things to go on, with all the small details, it's bound to be some mistakes and confusion and some things that don't match, and the jury knows that. It's the big picture that's important, what is completely undeniable, and the only thing I have seen that qualifies in such a manner, is that Amber is a maniac attention-seeker and Depp lives in a fantasy world and thinks he's god's gift.

Not only that if I knew a person who are on Amber Heard side I would immediately limit my interactions with them and try to slowly cut them out of my life. Let me just say I wouldn't trust them at all and would be extremely cautious around them

She lied in court so many times. She gets exposed as a manipulator and an abuser herself. She comes across as unstable and narcissistic.

But people still support her? I mean, how? The "believe women" crowd are a huge problem. You can't just blindly believe in someone, no matter the gender.
