I’m sure there are some genuinely good, well rounded people on Era, no doubt about it…however, so many of them are SO close to seeing the truth if only they could look in the mirror and reflect. Many of the same ones that are SO STRONGLY in support of Depp and really SHOWING those other guys, are directly responsible for the type of mob culture that allowed Johnny to be demonized in the first place. In fact, I’d be willing to bet a large sum of money if someone curious enough wanted to dig up an old thread on era when allegations against Johnny came out, I’m sure you’d see MANY of the exact same ”defenders of victims and truth” have some VERY colorful opinions that are quite different than what we see now. For most of them, it’s all bullshit and social capital. I’m happy for the ones that have done actual reflecting since then, but most of them are so ignorant of their own biases it’s nauseating.

People, let's try this, let's ignore her forever... she is not a spokeswoman for minorities, women, victims etc... the less people know who she is, the sooner she looses "power" of trying to make damage and stir drama.

I am very pissed at her comment, as a gay guy, as someone who have a friend who suffered from domestic abuse... I would just say to her, shut up please.

I was in a terrible fever for entirety of last week so I was kind just stuck lying in bed and watched pretty much the entirety of this trial for amusement.
The jury chose rightly, I can't believe there are actually people there who watched the trial and still believe Amber. Either they are gullible as fuck or can't wrap their head around the fact that a man can be victim of domestic violence as well. In this case Amber tried to ruin Johnny by defaming him too, making it even more infuriating.

Not surprising when you take into account the amount of stupid on the planet, and the constant fanning and encouragement of said stupidity by the most of the press. 🤷‍♂️

Could you imagine if the jury members finally decided to see everything that was covered in the media and online that they couldn't see in the courtroom? I imagine they will be assured in their decision.

5 steps to reporting on the jury's decision and securing your place in history as an advocate for equality.

1. Do not acknowledge a fair, transparent and long trial was taking place with plenty of unbiased and useful legal commentary.

2. Bring in race and gender because you cannot think of a proper argument.

3. Ignore constant lying by accuser and do not criticise the narcissistic and sociopathic tendencies of Heard.

4. Minimise the impact of abuse of male victims and ignore the positive impact this will have to encourage people (both men and women) to speak out.

5. Continue to be a dumb cunt.

Repeat step 5 for your entire career and whenever you are near a keyboard.

The headlines should read

"Amber Heard verdict reminds people that regardless of your color or sex, do not abuse the people you "love" unless you are ready to face the consequences."

Instead it seems like a bunch of women feel like they just got put on notice.

I'm a bit late but I'm delighted about the verdict. Amber was guilty as fuck and I was worried she'd get off scot free on some bullshit technicality. This was always bound to happen when it's encouraged to believe the 'victim' blindly and not bothering with silly things like 'evidence'. I hope people learn from this but I doubt that will ever happen.

Heard's allegations were simply put, just not credible.

She paints a picture of this out of control drink-and-drug addled loon who always wears a fistful of chunky rings beating her constantly but managing never to leave a mark that couldn't be disguised with make-up?

She asserted every part of that in her testimony. How do you even argue that rationally or convincingly?

Given Heard’s shitfuckery attitude and statement on the verdict, I’m expecting Heard to appeal and I hope she loses that too, and the damages amount increases.

I think Heard's career is over. Funnily enough the biggest damage to her career was done by herself and the court shenanigans on camera regardless of the allegations and result (although the result cements it), she's simply... well, quite a bad actress.

Even if anyone were to believe her or side with her in Hollywood circles, the only reason to cast a horrible actor is if doing so brings tons of money. Last time I checked she's not Dwayne Johnson so she's screwed. And all Hollywood gets from casting her is a boycott so she's as good as black listed.

She now has indie movies who pay minimum wage and she gets to be a victim in a family drama of sorts and/or B-grade direct to dvd movies whose use of women is... well, decades removed from reality.

That Anita tweet was as usual trying to stir drama and a stupid/failed attempt by her to become relevant again by forcing in minorities in her discourse while she self proclaimed as the spokesperson of those who suffer violence and abuse!

Like I said before let’s ignore her and I don’t need her “help” on anything! She does more damage than good, just like Amber did.

I’m starting to see a pattern!
