Cam just to post. I'm glad I don't have to go through Amazon service. Just got the game in the mail but won't touch it till the semester is over and won't touch story mode till I've caught up. Real shame about Diego and Foo Fighters. More female playable characters would be very beneficial for this game.

It depends , i think. My main problem with the arc is the main character. It feels like he has no personality nor charisma, compared to the other MC's. Probably the arc i disliked the most, although still miles better when compared to what's out there.

About the game, i wish my ps3 didn't broke. would buy this in a heartbeat.

Everyone says it's because of Part 5's subpar translation.

I read the first two volumes that were re-done a year ago, and he came across as far more likeable...and I already liked him before.

Can anyone here confirm if the DLC are cross regional? The ones being sold here are R3 versions. I remember Super SF4 DLCs being like this (Super SF4 game being R3 but US DLCs still work on them)

So the campaign mode update breaks the online? That's kind of depressing...

It's too bad Lisa Lisa didn't come out with Old Joseph, I really wanted to play as her. :(

The Part 3 characters seem the easiest to use so far, guess that makes sense because they're the most popular and most players would probably try them out first.

I've beat Part 3, 4, 5, and 7's Story Mode so far...hope Campaign Mode pops up soon to get all the neat customizable stuff.

At the beginning of the last chapter in Part 4 Story Mode, Josuke calls his Stand "Crazy Diamond", and then in the next line, Kosaku uses the correct "Shining Diamond" dub name.

A sign of the effort and quality of this localization.

And dub is giving Namco too much credit. They didn't bother to put that much work into this release.

Okay, question. I downloaded and installed the Campaign DLC with Old Man Joseph but for some reason its still giving me the same message whilst starting the game when you don't have the DLC, solutions?



Oh, and the Amazon code isn't working, please help me, GAF.

Namco broke the game. At this point, you really can't do anything except wait it out.

Best thing to do: let Pucci attain Made In Heaven, and then use Bites the Dust to revert it back to Whitesnake. LET THEIR RAGE SEEP THROUGH YOUR BODY

BTW, if you guys want to PM me your PSN name, GAF name and favourite character/main, I'll add you to the player list in the OT. Should make organizing matches a bit easier!

I find it funny that the trophy for getting Made In Heaven still references Stairway to Heaven. Speaking of which, already platinumed the game this evening. I don't go for platinums much but for JoJo's...

meanwhile I still can't get a perfect on N'Dool in the capcom game (only trophy I'm missing there lol)

Sooooo, i enjoyed MvC3:Ultimate (casually) is this game worth buying? I tried the demo and even though it looked quite sexy, i didn't really feel the appeal or depth i was looking for.

Is it just a bad demo, or is this a mediocre game i shud stay away from? The game costs 60 euro's in Europe which is... quite much... :x

Well, it plays nothing like MvC3. It's a much slower game and puts a focus on cancels, not aerial combos. I think it's a fun game once you get used to it the unique feeling of it.

No idea on DLC. The fact Old Joseph Joestar was available at launch was a complete surprise (maybe they released him first on the grounds the Part 3 anime started airing? *shrugs*). Part of me wonders if they'll do one character a week.

& yes, my copy is at the local post office in transit. Should arrive tomorrow, which is rather fast considering I got Amazon's standard (non-Prime) shipping.

My Amazon order status says that the game is "still preparing for shipment."

Why the heck did I pay an extra $13 for 2-day shipping when the package isn't even in transit yet?
