If you couldn't get into it via the manga, then try to watch the 2012 anime. If you don't like that, then JoJo ain't for you.

This was the first volume of Phantom Blood. The art was stiff, the dialogue was blunt, and most importantly none of the characters were making incredibly sexual poses.

From what I gather, the first two chapters were made into one anime, and Stardust Crusaders was made into another. Are these good to get into?

The 2012 JoJo anime is both Phantom Blood and Battle Tendency in one season. Battle Tendency is where people generally say JoJo Gets Good (tm). I would suggest you watch the first season up till the first bit of Battle Tendency and if you don't like where it's going from there, it's probably not for you.

All of these get improved especially for the poses

Which you should LOVE dammit

I've waited so long for this beautiful duwang.

Can't believe we're finally getting a Part 4 anime. It's easily my favourite arc, followed by Stone Ocean!

Jojo's Bizarre Adventure is split into parts, and each part focuses on a new protagonist.

The first part is pretty simple overall and really only exists to lay the framework for future parts.

Second part gets pretty wacky and is pretty interesting overall.

Third part introduces the element that the series is known for and has some incredible fights.

Fourth part is best part and continues/improves part 3's formula.

Just watch what is available on crunchyroll.com :3
Oh and i am doing the ot unless someoen else claimed it :x

That music has me way more pumped than anything I've seen so far. Also gave me the sudden urge to go play Jet Set Radio for a while. Cannot wait. I need this to come fill the void that'll be in my life without One Punch Man.

Looking good <3

I had heard Josuke's Stand ability was the power to heal but looking at this trailer it looks more like what Orihime's power from Bleach was (though of course given the creation dates of those manga, Jojo influenced Bleach in this regard if there was any influence to be had). Interesting.

it was confirmed it'd be them when the anime was announced

No it wasn't actually. It was confirmed a good bit afterwards but long before today. Given all that, its not surprising that some aren't aware they are on this adaptation too.

Skipped the Part 3 anime but 4 is one of my favorites so I'll probably watch this. Love the goofy vibe this part has and the cast is just so fun.

I'm already loving this protagonist so much more than Jotaro.
I'm familiar with most of JoJo up to Part 5, but I've never really followed it before the new animes came long.
Josuke seems so much more animated and with a lot more character.
The the bratty but cheerful cockiness is such a breath of fresh air after Jotaro's constant stoic testosterone explosion.

Crazy Diamond also seems like it has a way more interesting powerset than "is really fast and really strong."
Honestly, Star Platinum is next to Magician's Red as the most boring Part 3 stand.

I mean like it's shown but crazy diamond
have the ability to undo or fix any kind of damage to it's original form.
This time around the fights are going to be a bit more creative. We will just have to wait and see.

This, 7 and 2 are my favorite parts.

Can't wait to see this:

And the fucking Watch one liners, those are so silly they slay me every time.

So glad JJBA is finally using modern anime artstyle instead of that outdated blocky character design. It was terrible that fanartists were drawing Ceaser and Joseph, Jotaru, and Kakyoin better than the animators were. Josuke is easily likeable so far and has a great design. And I love Yuki Kaji character in this video, it looked like he was even running up to and so excited to see his Josuke, and the way they cut that scene was he about to hold his hand or something. Cruel place to cut it. First time Im excited for a JJBA experience again. Praying that the writing has been improved though, please dont kill Yuki Kaji character, I dont want to relive another Ceasar Kakyoin type of affair, and dont bring folks back to life unless youll bring EVERYONE back to life, not just senior citizens, please.

So I finally started watching the series.

It's been five minutes and the entire life story of Jonathan and Dio's been explained, and then Dio leaped out of a carriage and kicked a dog in the face.

I'm guessing this sets the tone for the entire series?

When it comes to animals, certainly.
