I really want to start part 6, but I still have Vento Aureo, and I've heard less than stellar things.
Part 5 has the best battles up to that point, and a pretty good story, too. It's much faster paced than any other part and more similar to Stardust Crusaders in that it's a "journey to a certain destination" story and that the JoJo doesn't do much despite being brokenly powerful, while someone else takes the real lead (Joseph/Bruno)I really want to start part 6, but I still have Vento Aureo, and I've heard less than stellar things.
Dude gets a pass for Purple Haze Feedback.Fugo's a pussy. Fuck Fugo.
SQUAD
Except Narancia. Has a decently cool stand but a terrible personality
I like Narancia. Kid had some of the most brutal fights and the worst of luck. Plus, the dance scene wouldn't have happened without him.SQUAD

Agreed on both counts.Narancia dance is a highlight of the franchise.
Would love to see this get an OVA series after VA's adaptation finishes.
The Rohan spinoffs are getting animated as disc-bonuses, so wouldn't be surprised if PHF got that treatment too.Would love to see this get an OVA series after VA's adaptation finishes.

At least one of them is.Wait, they are?
Even though I'm one of the folks who thinks Part 5 is noticeably weaker than its counterparts, it's still worth a read. If you enjoyed the structure of Stardust Crusaders, you'll enjoy Vento Aureo (conversely, if you didn't care for the "travel from A to B, fight Stand User X" format, then VA might be a harder sell).I really want to start part 6, but I still have Vento Aureo, and I've heard less than stellar things.
When you buy the Part 4 discs you get a code for each one that when the final volume comes out you can redeem for the OVA.Wait, they are?
The most amazingly random thing in that whole part.
Let's burn a guys eyeball with a magnifying glass and dance while we do it!
There's that one part in the final battle where Mista just fuckin shoots a cop (with a criminal's soul) in the face. It's easy to forget under all the fabulousness that Vento Aureo is pretty vicious. It's mostly barely teenagers ripping each other to shreds.

I bought The Gold Experience because of this videoPart 5 tribute (spoilers)

There's a part 3 one made by the person who did the part 4 op you posted too.
The whole manipulating his body in impossible ways thing. I mean I guess it's presumed that the other pillar men could do it but nobody else cared to do it. Also his rib cage trapping method so he can eat people.Say, what was Santana's gimmick
The other pillar men could do it since I remember ACDC and Wham contorting themselves a few times. I don't remember the rib cage trapping though.
Also Santana was the only one to "invade" someone's body right?
That was different than what Santana did because he was just a brain and veins. Santana jammed his entire body up Stroheim's leg.ACDC did the body invasion to Suzy Q
Stroheim's return: "THIS GERMAN SCIENCE WAS DESIGNED TO BEAT SANTANAAAAAAAA" "HE WAS JUST A BABYYYYY"santana was a scrub
I definitely intend to read it, and I just finished part 4 as well. Also, I really love the Sex Pistols design.Even though I'm one of the folks who thinks Part 5 is noticeably weaker than its counterparts, it's still worth a read. What I think Vento Aureo does poorly - The pacing is fairly choppy (especially towards the beginning), GioGio is boring and has an especially incoherent Stand, the major antagonist is the least hype in all the series, and the "endgame" seems all over the place
What I think Vento Aureo does well - Setting is awesome, Bruno largely compensates for Giorno's dullness, several good fights, MOTHERFUCKIN' SEX PISTOLS!
That's the best part about him.Oh, and regarding part 4, I'm disappointed that we got no closure on Mikitaka, but his chapters were amusing for sure.
