Well look, later in the series he starts using the correct transcriptions for stuff like Crazy Diamond and Polnareff, right? So I think you could make an argument for using AC/DC and stuff because he was inconsistent with his naming. Or you could go the other way to try to protect yourself from a lawsuit (which I still think is stupid) by making all or some of the names have weird spellings.My personal judgment was that a) Araki doesn't give a shit about English spellings (we've seen Joseph Joestar, Josef Joestar, Joseph Joester, and Josef Joester out of him in the manga, and both Joseph Joestar and Joseph Joester in anime promo material) and b) Shueisha subsidiaries are just lawsuit-averse rather than acting on some sort of greater plan.
I'd personally go with AC/DC and Crazy Diamond for consistency's sake, and because gibberish names are hard for a reader to keep track of. Simpler is better.
Edit: Zeppeli would be an outlier, but that's a fair trade, imo.
