I'd be very, very ok with that other than the fact that we literally have to wait at least 5 years if it's ever going to happen.

Edit: Oh, right, I almost forgot about All Star Battle. So not necessarily 5 years.

Five? I hope not, I need my SBR sooner : p

Aside from that part 5 too given all the violence

Well, SBR is part 7, and if we do give every part enough time to make them justice, say, about 3/4 or 1 year, and assuming no breaks, it'll be a couple of years anyways.

Yeah, Part 3 and on really at least 26 episodes each, but lets see what is budgeted. Wonder when they would announce that they are going to make more.

tbqh I thought Phantom Blood was short enough to fit in a single part. Not sure about Battle Tendency though, but they seem to be condensing it as well. Isn't Stardust Crusaders the most popular one though? They wouldn't drop the ball on that one.

Also Young Joseph > Adult Joseph

Yeah I'm a battle tendency man. And I kinda like how Steel Ball Run handled stands.

Heh, George being playable in ASB...

Also Young Joseph > Adult Joseph

Adult Joseph doesn't exist as far as I'm concerned. That's probably the single biggest complaint I have with part 3 and the main reason I haven't finished reading it up until this point. They take a character like Joseph who just oozes charisma in a way no other Jojo from Part 1~3 ever did, they age him up, and then proceed to toss out absolutely all of the qualities that made him such a likeable character to begin with. I wouldn't take so much issue with it if Jotaro as a protagonist was anywhere near as interesting a figure but he really hasn't been able to fill those shoes adequately enough for me at this point.

Does Adult Joseph even use Ripple at any point?

Three times actually, first to destroy
Dio's mind control flesh thing that was inside Kakyoin's head after Jotaro removed it ,the second time he tries to channel it on Dio through his Hermit Purple and finally against Dio again when he protects his body with Ripple charged Hermit Purple, Dio just throws a knife at him in stopped time to circumvent it.

I prefer Old Joseph, he's like a badass grampa.

I don't get the hate for old Joseph, even in part 4.. he's like the most badass Pa's on history.

More reason to love Araki, he not afraid doing this and other unexpected direction, as inconsistent he are I love how he rarely go with the most "standard" route.

The direction that he go with Joseph, Stone Ocean, and SBR still amaze me.
Back to Joseph, considering he aged 50+ year and being ultimate sidekick, Araki made him well.. He always have some "Speedwagon" on him, and all that. We still can spot him as Joseph with his spontanity trademark.

If he don't change quite drastically, maybe we gonna see Old Joseph as Drunkard and total pimp, not sure I want to see 65 year old chara act like that.

Now I remember the more reason to wanting part 3 anime remake because this topic.

The Sun fight, please don't skip it if there's remake

I really doubt they can constrain Part 3 onwards right? So much shit happening there.

Also which will become the official title for 4 - Diamon is not Crash or Diamond is Unbreakable?

...wait what?

Oh nothing, just joking around on the possibility of George being playable for all the silly reasons lol

I bet his attacks involve coughing, falling from a cliff, and being stabbed lol

...I need to know where these cards are from.

Diamond is Unbreakable sounds so much cooler. I'd question the production values past part 3 really. Part 4 Is Araki's favorite as he's stated, so...hmm.

I just saw that on the JJBA forums. For now I really have no comment other than that's fine really. Does anyone know who does Jotaro's voice in the ASB game?

Just checked out his career wiki, he's often cast as a cool guy, intellectual, and hero. He recently was Kuroh in Project K. I hope they have him on as Jotaro.

If he's Jotaro in ASB then I think they have him done.

Speaking of which how come there's little info in Johnathan's VA? Newcomer?

Seriously

He's llama in Polar Bear Cafe? Nice.

I still find it weird that they use male VAs for female characters there though :P

Actually, yes, yes I had. Neat coincidence.

From an animation stand point cgi stands wouldn't jell well I think. Then again it depends on the stand and the scene in question. Talking further about that I feel would walk into spoiler land, so I leave it at that for now.

Well, true, but the possibility was always there and they had already made Harvest cgi. Well, you could excuse that with saying that it's only a commercial and it's more of a cameo though.

If he's Jotaro in ASB then I think they have him done.

Well, doesn't look like he's a newcomer, but he doesn't seem to be notorious either. He does have a great voice though.

And yes, just thinking that the VA of Sephiroth of all people voices Panda Mama is hilarious XD

For now, it looks like the best that can be said is that they got some of the key animators from the current anime to do the art for some new cards in one of Bandai's TCGs so that the style would be consistent (there's one there of Lisa Lisa, too). Still, the sales predictions for the first BD volume are looking promising, so there's a good chance they could make a new anime for Stardust Crusaders at some point in the future.

edit: Yeah, it's a JoJo expansion set for Bandai's "Crusade" TCG system.

Same spoiler warning as below applies for some future anime stuff, I guess.

It's not like that's a fake, since the second verse is indeed the same, but it's missing the transitions and other things since that's technically fanmade by joining the TV opening and the second verse that they got from who knows where.

So it's similar, but it's not the actual thing.

Honestly, I'd say that it is one of those things that just goes on to prove that this is pretty much a project done out of love for the source material.

I worry sometimes about the license issues that arise if this is being considered to come state side.

Well, they'll probably just use the "Esidisi" names and such.

With All Star Battle registered in English the game and this anime has a chance, right?
