WB used to be pretty good at leaving its talent alone. Even in the DCEU, I think that BvS is the most Zack Snyder a $250M blockbuster film could be. Suicide Squad had pretty clear studio interference, but I'm not sure that Ayer's original vision for that film would have been much better. Maybe they will back off in this instance. $3B across 2 films for Disney is a pretty good resume point.

Neat. Isn't WB also working on a Gotham City Sirens thing and/or a Birds of Prey film? Strongly suspect they'll hedge their bets by turning all three into one project (...which I'd be fully down for anyway).
I think WB's currently floating way more DC movies than can actually come out in the next 5-6 years, but it'd be nice to see this one make it all the way to the big screen.
