Not giving the fans what they want so they tune in the next week in the hopes of getting it... only to not give them what they want again so they tune in the following week... repeat ad infinitum... is McMahon's key to success.
Things like Daniel Bryan's rise to the top at Wrestlemania 30 are once in a blue moon events of happenstance that only happen when circumstances like CM Punk walking out force their hand. Incidentally, that was the greatest gift Punk ever gave to the fans.
