Correct, the match had Charlotte and Dana Brooke in it also and Becky didn't kick out because one of them was supposed to break the pin up.

Orton on top def didn't work out. Storyline wise it did make the Batista/Triple H Feud bigger.

Speaking of...2005 RAW just has NO wrestling. It's allllll promos.

Buuut...it's still interesting because they have Cena/HHH/Angle/HBK/Flair/Christian*/ Slutty Lita and Edge DOING the promos. Even Batista comes off as money here because he's playing off the best. I guess that's one way to play to your strengths.

*I'm not counting Y2J, he was going through a funk at this time and had one foot out the door.

I get the taking the title of Benoit, though. I don't know if he was a draw or not but I could see how he wouldn't be. If that was the case though, why put the title on Orton?

I think WWE screwed themselves over by allowing that disappointing match between Ambrose and Lesnar to go ahead as it did.

If it had lived up to expectations and been a brutal fight to the near-death, regardless of the winner, they could have Brock come back and fight Champ-Ambrose "the man who beat/nearly beat you at Wrestlemania". Brock could win and look strong and give Ambrose a program to try and topple Lesnar, making him look more legit than he has in months.

Because Brock was the youngest reigning champion and Vince wanted to get that off of him. And Benny wasn't a draw because Vince booked him like that. It was stupid imo to do him like that. Anyone can draw if you book them well but Vince decided to put him against his favourite guy when he doesn't see anything in them ...... Kane.
