I gotta admit I'm glad that the Zayn-Owens thing seems to be ending. Put them on different brands and maybe in about 2-3 years when Owens hopefully has a world title and Sami has arrived in time for a world title push the feud can be brought back.

Enzo and Cass vs the Club was pretty boring, there was also a Sasha and Dana match that dragged on way too long then had an awkward ending with the sound guy seeming to fuck up a music cue and the Smackdown GM reveal thing was lackluster.

Ive got tickets to smackdown in august. Im so glad shane is the one running that. Hopefully the draft goes the way I want it to. Could be a pretty fun show.
RAW tonight had a ton of clusterfuck moments. That start was hideous. Tons of other little stuff here and there, but overall, it was pretty entertaining.
That stereotypical slap from stephanie then getting her comeuppance by nearly tripping and busting her ass in front of everyone was fucking sweet. Karma is legit people.

The most I ever hope for Smackdown these days is that it doesn't become the "tag team match, playa" show again.
Say what you will about Deans in ring work but Man oh man can he deliver some promos. That was some next level shit right there.

It's too bad the whole Vince wants competition thing is only a storyline.
In reality if they really want this roster split to work, they need to have entirely separate people in charge of everything including final say in storylines. Then they should tie things like ratings/attendance numbers/merchandise sales to bonuses for each roster set.
That would really make things interesting and give a tangible benefit to the people putting on the shows as well as the people watching the shows.

I want to say Meltzer/Alvarez talked about this once and said that it would be unfair to Raw to truly compete since they would have the third hour dragging them down each week.
Raw is still going to have a much larger roster than Smackdown though.
You can't tell me that they don't have the roster depth to make 1 compelling 3 hour show a week.
The writing/producing are another story.

Apples and oranges. Even if you don't take the fact that no one on the current roster has 1/10 the character or presence of a Jake/Macho/Warrior, they're totally different products, though still both wrestling, and both can be seen as cartoony.

-Ambrose's promo was fire 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
-New Day/Wyatts segment could have used a less shitty camerawork and a less corny music but it worked and had a relatively creepy vibe to it which was cool
-Cesaro/Owens was great
-Dana's boobs were shining like crazy. She still sucks though.

I like to think Ambrose being champion means he's giving it his all instead of phoning it in which I felt he had been doing a bit in the past few months. Hopefully he can give a Roadblock-like performance at Battlegrounds.
