July Wrasslin |OT| The Game, The Kane, The Pain, and The Insane (AJ)

I also seem to remember something near the end of the show where Slaughter came out and apologized for messing with everybody by saying he had a huge surprise. And he was talking like he was about to introduce Bret Hart by using terms like "national hero" and such, and then all of a sudden Hacksaw Jim Duggan came storming out?

Yup and you would think that after building all that heat up they would use it for something right? Nope. Instead they crapped on the audience and wasted an entire show on some old asshole who wasn't even going to be there next week.

Now if I were to throw on my conspiracy hat, I would say that it was Vince et al ribbing the Calgary audience for screwing live reactions for a decade plus prior to that. It may have even worked because I've noticed that since then our audiences have been much younger and much markier.
Sidenote: at that same show we got really drunk and were challenged to a fight by some Cena fans. They told us to meet them by an ice cream shop, we went to the casino instead.

Stu Hart saved this buisness. To see his grandson flounder in mediority is a crime and shame.

Teddy (DH) Smith is one of the most underrated workers and one of the best technical wrestlers in the business. I'm just glad that Tyson is just barely far enough away from the Hart family to still have a fighting chance.

It's a mark-out moment! I'm marking out, bro!

Is this a commercial?

I'm later than piss, and I post old pictures.

And I'll redeem myself with something I made once upon a time:

Psycho Sid's son is on this season of Big Brother

frank_eudy_480x610.jpg

Name: Frank Eudy

Age: 28

Hometown: Marion, Ark. (living in Naples, Fla.)

Occupation: Unemployed

Three adjectives that describe you: Gregarious, interesting and engaging.

Favorite Activities: Going to the beach, exercising and being around people.

Most difficult part about living inside the Big Brother house: Making sure my hair is camera ready all the time.

Strategy for winning “Big Brother:” Absolutely. Numbers are important, so I want to set up a "Dream Team," all playing certain roles. I would need a Larry Bird, a good country boy or girl who's honest and competitive; a Charles Barkley, an unmovable object possibly with a bit of a harsh attitude; a Patrick Ewing, somebody that knows the game and is reliable; a Michael Jordan, somebody who's a baller that can win competitions; and me as Magic Johnson, friendly guy playing point and running the show.

Which past Big Brother cast member did you like most or least: Most: Chill Town - they were great at the game and great at entertaining. Least: Daniele - she wines and complains too much and was ungrateful to her dad for the chance to even make it on the show.

What are you afraid of: I don't care for spiders or snakes.

What is the accomplishment you are most proud of: Paying for my braces while I was working through college.

Finish this sentence: My life’s motto is… the difference between a stranger and a friend is an introduction.

What would you take into the house and why: A phone…for the main purpose of getting information about the game from the outside world.

What would you do if “Big Brother” made you famous: Do my best to make it sustainable, and try not to make an ass out of myself!

Here is the Ratings breakdown for the 7/2 Raw:

As noted before, the WWE RAW Supershow on July 2nd scored a 3.2 cable rating with 4.71 million viewers.

In the segment breakdown, David Otunga, Cody Rhodes, Titus O'Neil and Darren Young vs. Santino Marella, R-Truth, Kofi Kingston and Christian lost 467,000 viewers from the opener. The big surprise of the show was Alberto Del Rio's beatdown on Sin Cara, which gained 584,000 viewers - a 14% growth among teenage boys and 23% among Men 18-49.

The Paul Heyman interview and first part of Sheamus and AJ Lee vs. Vickie Guerrero and Dolph Ziggler lost 383,000 viewers. The match itself plus Heath Slater vs. Doink the Clown gained 234,000 viewers - a weak number for the 10pm timeslot. Diamond Dallas Page laying out Heath Slater and Kane vs. Big Show in a No DQ Match lost 69,000 viewers, which is very good for that time period of the show. So far out of the recent Legend returns, Vader's return has done the best by far.

Tensai vs. Tyson Kidd lost 307,000 viewers while the main event with John Cena and CM Punk vs. Daniel Bryan and CM Punk gained 684,000 viewers and peaked with a 3.47 rating for the overrun.

I guess more people watched tv this week because Raw only had 10,000 less viewers than last week and the rating went down .1.

Also, shows that people are interested in Bryan and Punk because they had the highest rating this week and last week there match with Kane lost only 30,000 compared to the opening match this week that lost 467,000 people.

Also, everyone watching now knows Slater equals a legend is coming out.

Smackdown MitB
Damien Sandow vs. Tyson Kidd vs. Christian vs. Santino Marella vs. Tensai vs. Cody Rhodes vs. Dolph Ziggler

Still a great group of guys except for the bolded.

Santino is a joke, but a big guy like Tensai will provide a nice contrast - I guarantee one of the spots will be something like Tensai catching Kidd or Ziggler in mid-air into his sit-out powerbomb.

The thing is, Santino will get huge pops for his participation in it.

If that's all that's going to be in it (and really, that should be it!) I'm torn between deciding Rhodes or Ziggler winning it.

It should be Rhodes. He's been ready for so long, and he's just floundering now with nothing to do.

The Elimination Chamber proved that Santino can go in matches like this, I think we'll see a similar performance here.

That is true - I recall Mark Henry practically eliminating Kofi from one of the previous MitB matches after slamming him with a ladder.

I do wonder who takes the most bumps. I'd wager that it's Kidd and Christian who do.

Aiii

So not worth it
As much as I love Christian it should be Ziggler or Rhodes. Ziggler deserves it the most out of those two, he's been paying way too many dues for his turn in the spotlight.

We'll also probably see someone sell the Cobra like death, undoing any good Santino might have achieved :p

As long as it is a Super Cobra, like the Cobra knocks someone off a ladder, or Santino dives off the ladder to hit a Cobra onto someone standing or laying down.

Yup.

Though I'm sure we'll see some amazing oversells from Ziggler!

Something tells me they're still not done adding people.

They are:

According to WWE.com, the Smackdown Money in the Bank Ladder Match has been finalized with the following 7 competitors: Christian, Santino Marella, Cody Rhodes, Dolph Ziggler, Tyson Kidd, Damien Sandow and Tensai.

BTW, Hollywood's highest paid actors according to Forbes.com:

1. Tom Cruise - $75m
2t. Leo DiCaprio - $37m
2t. Adam Sandler - $37m
4. Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson - $36m
5. Ben Stiller - $33m

One of these things is not like the other.

I think both add something.

Tensai is a decent big guy, and in all MitBs it is good to have at least one big guy - as they can have their own style of spots to help in the match. I remember Henry ripped a ladder apart one year, which was kinda cool.

They can also help support the ladders for the bigger/risky spots - which Ziggler and Kidd are likely to do. MiTB could help get Tensai over - as he has been a disaster so far. If he did some of the stiff-style moves of the ladder, it could be amazing.

It's a pity they have Ryback working with the jobbers, as he could do some decent stuff in there too - and be less annoying.

Santino can throw in something funny I guess - actually, yeah, screw him.

Ziggler is going to kill in this match anyway :)
