Pretty much. I don't even really think Sorenson deserves the belt either but since he got injured I guess they feel it they should reward him with a title win.

I haven't seen any of Sorenson's matches, and this was the first I saw of Ion. Can't say I'm too excited.
Dutt seemed like the standout.
Aries really needs to win tonight. I'm worried TNA might just want to lengthen Roode's title reign though.
They're kind of in a lose-lose situation in a way because if Aries loses, they pretty much stop his entire momentum and it invalidates the whole "Option C" thing. If Roode looses, then it means way less when Storm beats him at Bound For Glory since someone already beat him.
In the long run though I think an Aries title win is probably better for the company. He just has that personality that makes you want to watch him.

I assume they're building up James Storm to win at Bound For Glory against Roode, or whatever, but it seems to me Austin Aries has no where to go if he doesn't get the title.
Bound for Glory isn't til October? You can have Roode lose and win back the title in that time. Unless they want a ridiculously long title reign.
