July Wrasslin |OT| The Game, The Kane, The Pain, and The Insane (AJ)

Too many Storm haters here. The guy is a very good draw for TNA and is super over with the TNA fanbase. That being said Austin Aries is as hot as any wrestler has been in a while. The guy is an absolute bonafide superstar and he needs the strap, Storm will get his turn but Aries is absolutely the best thing TNA has had in a LONG time.

show me the ratings/PPV buys that prove Storm is draw

I'll say one thing for TNA. Any profits they get they need to sink into their music departments. Even if in the last few years WWE themes have gotten generic/homogenized (Downstrait again Jim?), TNA's music themes are absurdly forgettable to a stupid degree.
I liked it when TNA would just cover popular songs, like when Kevin Nash came out to Kashmir.

Time for the IWC to mark out again:

PWInsider.com has confirmed that WWE has signed British star PAC, who had been working for Dragon Gate in Japan and DGUSA here in the States. Billed as the "Man that Gravity Forgot", he is a hell of a flier. This is a great signing.

Holy shit - I saw that PAC did a traditional farewell at Korakuen Hall the other day, bowing to the crowd, etc, but I just assumed he'd be headed to New Japan after a very successful run in the Super Jr's tournament.

I know the WWE shits on talented small guys...but PAC is awesome, so I can't help but be a little hyped.

PAC is what that goon (forgotten his name already) from earlier tonight thinks he is. The one that busted a nose on Impact.

Storm isn't a draw. TNA has tried to make him a draw and some may have the perception of such just because of how hard they are trying. Storm has no momentum. I'm more than happy with TNA as of late aside from AJ/Dixie/Crackbaby...

The WWE sure is signing a lot of indy talent considering they don't plan on putting anyone over Cena, Cena Lite, Triple H, Triple H's workout buddies or Vince's steroid-powered muscle-bound freaks.

At least Ziggles will have new blood to sell offense for.

Just wait til Ziggles does a Shooting Star Senton to sell a Shooting Star Senton. The little jimmies won't know what hit them.

a guy who hold the belt for damn near an year loses it in a 3 week feud to someone who's obviously going to drop it in 1-2months

that's just getting 1 years worth of scripts and shredding it

I understand where you're coming from, but sometimes, you have to change things up based off how the audience is reacting and which wrestlers have the momentum. The Storm/Roode conflict has cooled off quite a bit since Lockdown (through no fault of either wrestler), while Aries' momentum has been building up more and more over the past few months.

All in all, I feel that TNA finally did the right move tonight.

I wouldn't say they're all forgettable, but the majority of 'em are, sadly.

I'm just saying this based on a few PPVs, really, but the only two themes that I recall are Roode's and Samoa Joe's, thanks to the Godzilla type start. The rest just mash together into one cacophony of generic electric guitar riffs.

I agree with this point only if Aries has a legit 3-4+ month long title run out of this

And we both know that's not happening, I see no way he has the title going into BFG

Calm down folks. The storyline is not over. They didnt want to do the obvious ending for the BFG series. Now every match is important conserning the series. So Now all of the former ROH Champs that got there names known by ROH are now the World Champs in the two largest Promotions.

Except Nigel McGuinness.

Poor Nigel. Remember when he came in and instantly feuded with Angle?

Right now they're looking at Joe vs Aries II at BFG....should be awesome as a main event.

Just a reminder, there is history with Joe and Aries......Aries beat Samoa Joe for the Ring of Honor title at Final Battle 2004 after Joe held it for 21 months.

They'll probably use the FCW name generator, so it will be like one random name paired with a name taken from one of his heroes/inspirations. Like Seth (Henry) Rollins.

Plus, Low Ki is Jr. Heavyweight Champion of the biggest promotion in Japan.
