Watching Summerslam 2002 after hearing Heyman talk about it on the podcast. Guerrero comes out and they show a "DEPORT EDDIE" sign. He's from El Paso, you idiot.

"JESUS HAS RISEN & HIS NAME IS BROCK LESNAR" is a great sign though.

Well this episode is pretty good and getting over the pay per view.

This is hilarious from the TNA taping:

* Mr. Anderson vs. Gunner is next, as a result of something that happened between the two on the 8/7 episode. The crowd gets bored during this match, chanting for John Cena and Rusev. They also sing Adam Rose's theme song. Samuel Shaw came out and attacked Anderson. The crowd chanted, " Thank you Dexter". .

It's kind of insane how they were trying to position Magnus a year ago at this time and now he seems to be completely off TV. Any momentum he had coming of the MEM storyline came to a complete halt with his terrible championship reign.

Oh man, just read a great idea. Cena vs. Lesnar. Cena does the spot where he throws the steps. Lesnar catches them, throws them back at him, then beats the hell out of Cena with them.

Realistically, I can't see it happening without a botch somewhere, but I would really like to see this happen anyways.

August 7 Impact

* A hardcore match between Abyss and Bram kicks off the show. Before the match, crew members filled the ring and ringside area with weapons. Bram took a big chokeslam on thumbtacks at one point. Abyss gets the win.

* They had to clean blood up off the ring before the next segment.

* MVP, Bobby Lashley and Kenny King come out with four women on their sides. MVP speaks but is interrupted by Bobby Roode. Roode has words with Lashley until they beat him down. Austin Aries and Eric Young run down and make the save, clearing the ring.

* Samuel Shaw, Mr. Anderson and Gunner vs. Robbie E, Jessie Godderz and DJ Zema Ion is next. The babyfaces get the win.

* In-ring segment with Gail Kim and Taryn Terrell going at it with Angelina Love and Velvet Sky.

* Sanada vs. Low Ki vs. Samoa Joe for the vacant X Division Title is up next. Joe gets the win after making Sanada tap out. The crowd popped huge for Joe and everyone sang "Joe's gonna kill you" for a big moment.

It doesn't sound bad, but I just have a hard time mustering up any sustained enthusiasm for this product.

As mentioned, they are The Young Bucks, Nick and Matt Jackson.

Nick = blonde
Matt = dark-haired (just think Matt Hardy. That's how I remember who's who)

They are infamous for using a ton of superkicks in some of their matches and using them like a regular move...which makes some people angry. but really, The Young Bucks are just really great heels and very talented wrestlers.

Nope, they have more tapings in the same building in August. Those tapings will finish all tapings through September when the contract ends. After that they still have 2 tapings left to go into bound of glory but not sure what happens if Spike says no.

They are doing another set of tapings in NYC in August and those will take them through October or leave 1 more set before BFG. They aren't doing more tapings next week.

My favorite thing about the PS gif is how that blazer looks both too small and too big at the same time. Sleeves are too long, but it barely fits around him.
