Some have taken exception to Ball’s outspoken ways. But it’s hard to deny the fact that he’s built a brand in Hollywood.
So staying true to form, it looks like LaVar will be appearing on WWE’s Monday Night Raw this week.
“Sources tell us the two sides have been in talks to make it happen and things are looking good — however, as is always the case with creative plans, they could change at the drop of a dime,” Pro Wrestling Sheet reported over the weekend.
LaVar made some noise during the draft on Thursday. Upon being booed out of the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, the highly enigmatic figure threw his Big Baller Brand hat into the stands. It’s just the latest example of him going out of his way to remain in the public eye.
Prior to that, Ball himself hinted that an appearance on Raw might be in the cards.
In any event, it will be interesting to see what WWE has planned for him. We’re sure Ric Flair will have something to say about it.
