No, Rey did a good job. That tornado tag match was pretty exciting. Every person in that match brought their A game.

RAW wasn't half bad this week other than another Kofi vs. Ziggler match. Diva match wasn't so annoying, too.

I thought Rey was good this week, great last. Still loving that triple threat, wish I could download it. So little wasted motions/filler that you usually see in one of those.

All I want to know is .. did Sin Cara botch again with that twirling thing into a submission move. I haven't seen him hit it yet and was wondering if that was intentional. I can't imagine a wrestler with his style using a submission as a finisher .. however, it looks so cool in his Mistico videos.

They need to pit Sin Cara in a program with one wrestler for an extended feud. They tried with Chavo, but there was only one or two matches in that whole ordeal. He needs to be with someone so they can learn each other's motions in the ring and put on one hell of a match at a PPV. Switching to a new opponent each week isn't helping him any.

He doesn't end La Mistica with an armbar in the WWE. It's more of a facebuster end?

It rarely ends the way he wants it to. He tried to hit it with Evan Bourne and looked sloppy.

I still say that he has to ground his fighting style a bit more. Although his moves are fantastic and he is a spot machine, I don't want him hurting himself or his opponent (or both).

Averno will be his first extended feud though not sure when he is going to start.

It's really sloppy looking and makes it look like a botch ..

After that promo last night, we don't deserve a Punk vs Austin WM angle.

Do you understand how epic that lead up would be if Punk and Austin are allowed to write their own program?

Sky and their crazy decisions. I feel they always end up putting the worst PPVs on Box Office

Daft isn't it, I would have happily paid for this one as well.

I'm not going to lie I will mark like crazy if Christian wins his title match then loses to the MITB winner instantly. I love a good internet meltdown. Even better would have been him winning the MITB then cashing in and losing.

Truth should win the Raw one I think, anyone but Swagger / Miz / Rey and I'll be happy. I have a horrible feeling they'll let Miz take it again and start another boring run.

As for Smackdown, Percy Watson to win it OH YEAH!

Wouldn't mind Swagger winning if it meant they were actually going to do something with his character. Raw is so filled with wrestlers that none of them get any screen time. Poor McIntyre gets paraded out on TV just to be super kicked. Talk about talent getting buried.

Yeah. Definitely. In all honesty, they should have sent him to FCW to get him used to the WWE way of wrestling, but I understand that the WWE wanted to bank on Sin Cara.

A move like that is pretty tasking for the receiver, though. How to move with Mistico/Sin Cara over you, how to land, et cetera.

Knowing Vince he would turn it into Austin vs Vince with CM doing Austin's dirty work. CM would end up looking like a flunky because in the end Austin would turn on CM and WM would end with the entire roster coming out to laugh at CM.

Or....it would end up in a CM/HHH match as he is defending his father-in-law.

Alright, I know you guys aren't fans of fantasy booking, but whatever. Here's how I'd proceed from here.

Next week's RAW opens with Vince standing in the ring.

Vince: (calmly)"I know what everyone's been talking about all this past week, and I'd like to address it immediately. I ask that CM Punk please come down to the ring".

*Punk's music hits*

Vince: (calmly) "Cut his music, please; it's not necessary".

*Punk enters the ring with a shit-eating grin on his face, mouthing barely audibly "What're you gonna do, Vince? Huh?" etc. etc..

Vince: (again, calmly. This isn't the loud-mouthed VKM everyone's used to) "Punk, last week you insulted me, the WWE, the WWE Universe, my employees, and... my family. What do you have to say for yourself?"

Punk takes a mic from his trunks "I'm just saying what everyone online, in the arena, and in the back wants to say. You can't touch me, Vince. I've got--"

Vince: "Cut his mic, I've heard enough. Punk, effective immediately, your services are no longer required. Please exit the ring." *punk looks pissed at being cutoff again, but quickly goes back to a smirk and goes to leave. Vince turns to the hard camera. "Now, as for filling the now-vacant spot at Money in the Bank. Tonight, we're gonna have ourselves a triple-threat ma--" *Punk awkwardly reaches around and rips the live mic from Vince's hands.

Punk: "You signed the contract, Vince! There's nothing you can do about it, not even with your army of corporate lawyers! I'm gonna be at MitB, whether you, Cena, and all your ass-kissing stooges--" *Punk's mic is cut again, and security rushes into the ring to remove Punk, but Punk lashes out and strikes McMahon hard in the mush. McMahon looks legitimately (physically) hurt and shocked-- not his usual pissed-off-and-wanting-revenge look.

Punk screams off-mic, but still audible: "You can't touch me, you sonuva bitch! How does it feel to be at someone else's mercy, huh?"

*People pour out from the back to clear the ring --heels and faces alike-- including Triple H, who yells at Punk "What do you think you're doing!? Who do you think you are?!". Cena, among others, is seen helping McMahon to his feet as the screen quickly goes black to commercial.*

The next couple of weeks, Vince says that, yes, Punk does have a contract to appear at MitB, and it's iron-clad. However, he won't be appearing on this nor the next RAW as a result of his actions.

Nexus comes out later and disavows any ties to Punk.

That's all I've got for now, though Vince could screw Punk by having the match start out reasonably normal, then have punk start no-selling Cena's big moves. Cena gets pissed, punches Punk hard and, while Punk's off his game, Cena leaves the ring, gets counted out, and retains his WWE title. The PPV ends with Cena saying off-mic "Good riddance".

Just my thoughts. Maybe this is terrible, I dunno. But it seems like it'd work to me, with maybe a bit of tweaking.

Fantasy booking never happens but heres my thoughts: I'd love to see Punk win the title, leave the company and have title defences, filmed for Raw on small indy shows which are total squashes. Theres some technicality which means that because Punk is still defending the title he cannot be stripped of it. After he squashes guys Punk tells the WWE locker room that none of them will ever get their hands on the title. He also points out to Cena this means his wrestlemania main event match against The Rock can't be a title match as Cena dreamed it would be.

See, the trouble with deathmatch wrestling is that once you've done one crazy spot it'll never have the same impact again, so you have to do an even crazier spot the next match and it leads into a never ending quest to produce bigger, crazier, more memorable 'visual moments' that cover up how shitty some of these wrestlers are;

Holy shit, just as a warning to others that pic is pretty graphic.
Like I've said before I just don't get deathmatch wrestlers. They are being paid next to nothing which I can understand in a company like CHIKARA because it looks like it would actually be fun. But they can't actually enjoy doing that stuff and its not like WWE or TNA are going to hire any of these guys sp theres no real job prospects from doing it.

...Vince comes out and says he'll give Punk anything he wants to bring the title back. Next week he comes out and says he has what Punk wanted. Punk comes out, hands Vince the belt. "Now give me what I asked for". Glass smashes. Epic staredown. "Wrestlemania".
Internet melts down.

Major spoilers regarding the MitB ppv and next few weeks...

while looking up tickets for RAW on Aug. 6th in my city, they had listed Cena vs. Del Rio for the WWE championship....aug. 6th....I guess this means punk isn't winning :(

I see we've gone from thinking pro wrestling is real to fantasy booking.

Next stop: WrestleGAF e-fed.
At least they're not pretending to be the Nation of Domination, or the Mexicools. Those guys actually think they're wrestlers!

Please, no e-feds. It's the one thing that makes WrasslinGAF 99% more intelligent that almost every other wrestling forum out there. If I ever see you guys writing up fully detailed show reports for fictional federations, I'm outta here :p

In NOAH news it seems that Shuhei Taniguchi has suffered a cervical spinal injury in his match against Takeshi Morishima last Sunday - although he has been taken off the next show, NOAH have given no details on how severe the injury is;

Fucking sucks, as he's been the breakout young star for NOAH this past year. Hope he isn't out of action for too long.

Also, that's another name added to the ever growing list of people Morishima has legitimately fucked up. I love watching the guy wrestle when he's on form, but he truly is a beast. Japanese Stan Hansen.

Yeah, the only place to make money off of this stuff is in Japan, but BJW won't bring over anyone without a reputation as a top deathmatch worker or anyone who can't work a normal match, plus it takes a lot of commitment to work over there full time. Obviously there are some deathmatch wrestlers like MASADA and Necro Butcher who can and have found some moderate success outside of deathmatch wrestling, but neither of those guys are getting calls from WWE any time soon and so many others are so goddamn awful that I figure the only reason they get booked anywhere is simply because of the stupid shit they're willing to do.

Yeh I generally avoid fantasy booking since most of it ends up making no sense but since WWE did something a bit different I thought I'd throw out an idea of what I'd like to see them do. I have no doubt WWE will fuck it up though and it will turn into just another fued.

I think Punk is going to win the title whether he stays or goes. It just makes no sense for him to have this much pub and this much heat just to lose and not be heard from again. I know the WWE doesn't always put the title on the 'hot' guy (kinda like how Christian has lost all momentum the last 2 weeks) but it would make sense either way.

He's leaving: MitB winner comes and cashes in on his ass.

He's staying: prolonged feud with Cena, something that they were going to do at the beginning of the year until the Rock got involved in WM plans.

Either way it makes too much sense not to put the belt on him at MitB.

Pretty sure that Del Rio is going to win the Raw MITB and cash in the winner of Punk/Cena at MITB.

I also want to chime in and MAKE ABSOLUTELY SURE nobody starts an E-Fed. Horrible things.

Lol, did someone "hack" Angle's twitter again, or is he just insane?

http://twitter.com/#!/anglefoods1/status/85833393467695104

"CM Punk had classic promo last night. Good for Him. But if U ever say another word about Me again, Ur toast! If U don't believe Me, try Me!"

I'm pretty sure Punk never once mentioned him.
The only thing I can think of is that a while back Punk made fun of him on his twitter for Angle pretending his account was hacked after he posted crazy shit. But with Kurt it is always possible that its just because he is a mad man.

I was actually going to post this. Waltman has come across as really likeable in a lot of the stuff he has done recently. It shows that he is passionate about the business.

Wow, CM Punk really had enough. Good for him, I'm tired of seeing Randy/Cena winning time after time again. Hell, I was even getting tired of Edge winning. But I have no clue what he was talking about his daughter or whatnot. That's kind of below the championship belt--no? Fine

Also notable is the No Limit Soldiers vs the West Texas Rednecks. Incredibly bad and good.

LOL at Bobby Heenan.

*Talking about No Limit Soldiers* "Do you see the way that team dresses? You know you can avoid all that if you put a light in the closet."

Best color commentator ever.

By the way, who in the world was 4 X 4? That guy was HUGE.

I've noticed that all the "X-Pac Heat" has basically turned into "X-Pac Love," if the CHIKARA show was any indication.

Okay, someone explain this to a noob or correct me if I'm misunderstanding.

CM Punk's promo was unscripted and revealed to everyone basically that wrestling is planned.

He pissed off the management. They cut off his mic, etc.

So was this a "worked shoot?" Or was this just a disgruntled employee?

And can they really fire Cena if CM Punk wins? And why would that matter if all outcomes are already decided? Unless it's part of the plan.

I'm confused.

Thanks for the spoiler tags. Oh, wait...

SMH!

It was a worked shoot that played off brilliantly on all the rumours we've heard about Punk leaving, Punk being dissatisfied, etc in recent weeks. This is why the promo was so godlike, because no one has any idea what's going on, not the casual fans, not the smarks, not the dirt sheet writers with all their 'insider info', no one, except for Punk & Vince and whoever else is involved in the angle.
