TNA spoilers

-The show opens with a Mr. Anderson celebration promo with the ring all set up. He trash talks Sting when Gunner comes out. Gunner got in Anderson's face and after an exchange of words, threw Anderson through a table.

-Austin Aries defeated Kid Kash and another wrestler (believed to be Jimmy Rave) to earn a contract with TNA.

-Devon defeated Hernandez by Disqualification. Rosita and The Pope both interfered during the match.

-Kurt Angle comes out and announces his Olympic aspirations. Jeff Jarrett comes out and challenges Angle to another match despite Sunday being their final battle.

-Rob Van Dam defeated Samoa Joe in a good match. They shook hands afterwards.

-Rosita and Sarita defeated Velvet Sky and Miss Tessmacher to retain the Knockouts Tag Team Titles.

-Gunner defeated Mr. Anderson in a non-title match. Eric Bischoff showed up after the match and said some things to Anderson.

Austin Aries back in TNA! This show actually doesn't sound that bad, except for this hard on someone has for Gunner in TNA.

What the shit is this even supposed to mean?

I think it's probably gonna be like that tournament they had for a number 1 contender spot like they had last year, which if I remember correctly, ended up completing at Bound For Glory. Destination X should be awesome atleast. I've heard they are gonna do kind of like they did at the ECW ppv last year and have the whole focus on X division.

Why not just put it on Impact?

Really?
They are continuing Angle/Jarrett again?
What else can they put up?

The third man in the TNA contract match was definitely Jimmy Rave. He looks totally different. Hair is cut shorter, he is in much better shape, and no Guitar Hero crap.

Honestly that show doesn't sound bad. the #1 contender makes no fucking sense, but I can live it..for now.

All 3 of the those guys in the Aries match need to be in TNA. Would inject much needed blood and talent into TNA

He wasn't on Raw at all. He beat Primo in a Superstars match. In-arena reports said the crowd was red hot for Ryder during his match.

Good news: People love Zack Ryder.

Bad news: He's stuck on Superstars in his hometown. FUCKING HELL, VINCE.

The WWE is getting desperate to build up a new upper card babyface at the moment, and they've basically got a ready-made face in Zack Ryder that's just begging to be used.

So of course, he hardly gets used on the main show. I'm not saying that he needs to be rocketed up to the main event right away or anything, but fuck, at least allow him to make some appearances on the main show here and there in order to build him up a bit.

I'm gonna say that with the recent repots John Cena is injured, a title win for R-Truth on Sunday isn't out of the question. We are 10 months away from the big Rock vs Cena match and if Cena needs any type of surgery, NOW is the time to get it so he'll be 100% by Mania.

That Divas match escalated rather quickly. I stabbed someone with a trident. I should probably lay low for a little while..."

As WWE's proven with their booking the past five years, they don't give a shit about upcoming babyfaces. They like their stale product and waning ratings.

But who would R-Truth fight against... John Morrison? That's why it's so incredibly frustrating a a fan.

Well if cena ever has to take a few months off they will move ortan over and he will fill that place like nothing ever happened.

That's the thing. Who would run Smackdown as the top face, Sin Cara? Daniel Bryan? Kane?

Both shows are clearly lacking faces. They haven't had a fresh, NEW face on Raw in over five years. Partly as to why is they never tried.

my goodness.
that raw wasn't bad. haven't watched for 3 weeks until now.
my goodness punk won.

what the hail dawg with that dream sequence

Did anyone else think Stone Cold seemed a bit flustered in his Punk segment?
Yeah, stone cold was shocked. I hope to god this leads somewhere.

Hey guys I'm heading to Japan in October this year and was hoping to catch some wrestling whilst over there. Anyone know of some good events at this time or websites to check out? The New Japan website doesn't seem to have any dates after August for some reason. Any other promotions worth checking out?

Ugghh god this Zack Ryder love is nauseating now. Average wrestling, average promo's average everything but a theme song.

At this point I hope Vince puts him on RAW just to flounder and expose him.

I'm a fan, and I'm willing to admit his wrestling and look is nothing exciting. But he's still a decent worker, tries to improve himself in and out of the ring, and has a character. The latter which in case is lacking on many guys.

Oh, and this is from Bret's twitter lol

A plastic water bottle as a weapon? I wish Jack Tunney was around 2 crackdown on such vicious foreign objects. Bag of marshmallows nxt wk

I don't think most companies have dates booked that far in advance, but where abouts in Japan are you going? If it's Tokyo, then obviously there's more options, Pro Wrestling NOAH, ZERO-1, BJW and NJPW being the biggest, AJPW too but they're in a spot of trouble at the moment. Smaller companies like SMASH, Kaientai Dojo, DDT, Michinoku Pro, Apache Pro, BattlArts, Dradition, Freedoms and Union Pro run out of Tokyo too. Elsewhere, Dragon Gate run out of Kobe, Kensuke Office out of Yokohama and Osaka Pro and Okinawa Pro out of Osaka & Okinawa respectively.

Personally I'd try and see a NOAH and NJPW show for sure. ZERO-1 put on an excellent show too, and I imagine DDT would be hilarious to see live.
