1) What events did you pay $300 to see?
Unforgiven 2006, Bragging Rights 2009, Over The Limit 2010, Summerslam 2010, Royal Rumble 2011

2) How many did John Cena headline?
All 5 if Cena participating in the Royal Rumble counts

3) How many ended with John Cena celebrating with the Cenation?
3(Royal Rumble ended with Ricardo Rodriguez screaming "Alberto Del Rio! Alberto Del Rio! Alberto Del Rio!", and Unforgiven 06 ended with Boos for Cena on camera and a Standing Ovation for Edge off)

4) Did you buy programs?
No

5) Did you have to pay for parking or did you take public transportation?
Public Transportation or Walk from my Hotel

6) Did you get the tickets via presale as a member of the WWE Universe?
Some were aquired from connections I have in the ticketing industry and the others by myself finding a presale password on the internets and buying them the second the presale started

7) Did you bring signs? If so, what did they say?
I've had various signs to WWE shows some I remember include "My Lamp Broke" "Cade and Murdoch are my heros"(this was one week before they turned on the Hardy's and I was hoping it would happen that night. Murdoch, Matt, Jeff, Chimel & Chioda all reacted to it), "Cena's Vanity plate: ICT *Chaingang Logo* WRSL"

8) How many people did you go with on average?
usually just myself. I know nobody in real life who will spend that much for wrestling tickets. I will be going with an internet friend to Wrestlemania 28 though

9) Did you participate in any chants?
Yes

10) Were you on camera?
I'm front row in this Gif(white shirt beside the guy holding the Orton Sign):
kWIUC.gif

11) Did you go to see a specific talent?
I usually go to see the overall Show. However I went to Bragging Rights to see The Undertaker live for the first time, and Over The Limit to see Bret Hart Live for the first time.

12) Did you just go because you wanted to attend the event?
Yes, why else would I have gone?

13) Why did you get the $300 tickets?
Because they were the best seats and you get to keep your chair

14) Do you feel like you would have had the same experience in cheaper seats?
No, I would have bought the cheaper seats if that were the case

15) Would you go to another WWE live event? If so:
Yes

16) Would you pay $300 again to sit in the same section?
I've done it 5 times so I clearly would do it again

17) Of the 5 events you went to, which offered the most value for your money?
Unforgiven 06, TLC match was awesome

18) Did any of the 5 events leave you wishing you had watched it on TV instead?
Over The Limit 2010 kind of sucked because the I Quit match went all over the arena and those type of matches suck for the live crowd

19) Would you pay $300 to attend a non-WWE live event?
No, I've paid $50 for front row tickets to house shows before and those are fun for different reasons

20) Do you feel like the WWE respects you as a high-end customer who pays significant amounts of money to view their product?
Sometimes they suck at getting people to sit down(You're in the front two fucking rows, why are you even standing? You're blocking my view in the third Row and everyone elses you douche). Otherwise everything is orderly and controled. They untie the chairs pretty quickly and allow everyone to leave with their chairs with relative ease.

Anything else?

Man, you're going to have some rough years from here on out, lol (maybe).

He did that in 2007 so that's nothing new to me.

Still got a couple of years left. Once they start to suck, I'll probably end getting WWE OnDemand and watch old Monday Nitro episodes with Karl Malone.

how is orton still a face when he continually punts people when theyre down?!

Wrestling Logic has always been if they're a heel, you can do anything to them and still be considered a face. It's been like that for a long time.

Not really considering faces attack faces sometimes(like Cena FUing Teddy Long for Example). Faces can do whatever they want and the commentators will twist it into being okay. Yet, they go ape shit if a heel even enters the ring to break a 3 count in a tag team match. They need to go back to when Faces acted like faces, and Heels actually did heelish things to get heat instead of this muddy grey area bullshit

I've paid $300 5 times. I know some Gaffers have sprung for the $750(now $850) Wrestlemania tickets before.

*raises hand*

Have sat ringside at the last 6 Wrestlemania's and been to 22 WWE live events in the last three years (sitting ringside for most of those shows with the exception of a few in the lower level). Overall, I'd say the number is close to 30 in the last five years for WWE shows.

dream, if you don't mind, I'll answer your questions.

1) What events did you pay $300 to see?
A: 6 Wrestlemania's and 3 PPV's in Chicago (No Mercy '07, Judgment Day '09, Night of Champions 2010)

2) How many did John Cena headline?
A: Honestly, I'd say half AT MOST. And that's being generous. He's had a lot of midcard matches at the shows I've been to. No Mercy '07 was when he tore the pec 6 days before and was taken off the show. Then there's Smackdown tapings & House Shows which he isn't a part of.

3) How many ended with John Cena celebrating with the Cenation?
A: I'd say 10 or so. But that includes post-raw stuff following dark matches.

4) Did you buy programs?
A: Usually, if they're new.

5) Did you have to pay for parking or did you take public transportation?
A: Paid for parking. Small venues like house shows are typically free. Bigger venues are usually $20. Most I think I spent on parking was $30 at WM 24.

6) Did you get the tickets via presale as a member of the WWE Universe?
A: Probably 95% through ticketmaster. Some events like Night of Champions 2010 and Raw the day after WM this year came from Stubhub.

7) Did you bring signs? If so, what did they say?
A: I've never taken a sign but my little sister took one sign to Night of Champions 2010 that said "Cena, Please throw me your shirt" and he did. Great memory for her that honestly made the show for me because of how happy it made her.

8) How many people did you go with on average?
A: Always four.

9) Did you participate in any chants?
A: Not really. I'll clap but not much of a chant guy.

10) Were you on camera?
A: Many times.

11) Did you go to see a specific talent?
A: Not really. The shows are usually a lock to go when they're announced but some talents get me more excited about upcoming shows than others. The Rock in Chicago this year is an example of that. Really looked forward to that show a lot more than say a regular house show.

12) Did you just go because you wanted to attend the event?
A: Yes. Never attend because it's part of a tradition or anything like that. Always have an interest in going to the show.

13) Why did you get the $300 tickets?
A: The money is usually there, so we get the ringside seats because the show overall, at least to me, is a better experience when you're sitting closer. And if the "action" gets close to you it's just that much better.

14) Do you feel like you would have had the same experience in cheaper seats?
A: Answered on question 13.

15) Would you go to another WWE live event? If so:
A: Yes

16) Would you pay $300 again to sit in the same section?
A: Yes

17) Of the 5 events you went to, which offered the most value for your money?
A: Tough question. Probably Wrestlemania 24 because of the outdoor atmosphere. Felt really special.

18) Did any of the 5 events leave you wishing you had watched it on TV instead?
A: Not really. I always have fun at the shows.

19) Would you pay $300 to attend a non-WWE live event?
A: Probably not. I usually sit as close as I can get for TNA, ROH, and DGUSA shows but honestly since they run such small venues the experience is pretty much the same whether you're sitting front row or if you just have a general admission seat. With WWE, since they run such large venues you have to pay a premium for good seats because there's a huge difference in the viewing experience between ringside and upper level seats.

20) Do you feel like the WWE respects you as a high-end customer who pays significant amounts of money to view their product?
A: Agree with krae_man.

Okay, that's just cool. I can see why they're never going to have Cena become a bad guy.

I think you mean 2009. Orton started turning face last year. Punting Shane, Punting Vince, DDTing Steph, Kissing Steph while HHH watched...He was evil. Then the WWE fucked it up because they were too chicken shit to pay off that feud with Orton winning at mania and not getting his comeuppance 100 times over till later.

damn @ u guys payin $300+ for tickets and i thought the tix i got for raw in august were expensive

Raw/Smackdown are usually around $80+ service charges for the best seats. Well Face value anyway. WWE is crazy into the resale market now.

It's funny because I remember WWE promoting themselves as "the best value in entertainment" for a while.

God you fuckers are rich.

Haha, I saw that last night and was joking with my sister about that. Have seen it a few times since last year but haven't seen him throw the shirt to that person since. Was just lucky that night I guess.

The house shows are very affordable and even Wrestlemania tickets start at like $30. You are right though that if you want the best seats, you do have to pay a premium for them.

I'm not rich and you don't necessarily have to be to afford ringisde PPV tickets. It's all about what you choose to spend your disposable income on and budgeting.

There's probably make a wish cancer kids in the front row most of the time.

A couple years ago the seats were actually much cheaper. PPV's were $250 for ringside seats (now $300) and TV shows were $50 (now $70 here). Even the "cheap seats" went from $15 to $20-25 depending on the event.

But there's House Show events nearby that are great values. 30 minutes from Chicago is Hammond, Indiana and usually at the beginning of every year there's a good house show in a small 4,000 seat building. The cheapest tickets are usually $20 and even if you sit in the last row, the view is pretty good. Definitely worth going to on a Friday or Saturday night.

Yeah I'm by no means rich but I had good seat for Mania this year, as well as the HOF and Raw the next night. I saved for a few months and it was totally worth it. I knew Mania wasn't great though. I actually sent a text to my brother during the show and asked him if it was better on TV than live, and he replied "I immediately want my money back".

I wonder what RBH paid for his WrestleMania tickets.
$100 for lower level at face value.

I thought it was a fair price considering it was Wrestlemania
albeit not the best Wrestlemania
.

Just read this:

Randy Orton did suffer a concussion while working in Madrid, Spain on Sunday. The concussion story they ran on Raw was a legit reason as to why he could not perform. WWE is still pushing that Orton will wrestle Sunday at the Capitol Punishment PPV, and while that would have been a given back in the day, wrestling seven days after a concussion is more questionable in 2011.

Uh-ohhhhhhhhhh!

Dont worry, they will screw it up somehow.

Despite how promising something looks in general in either WWE or TNA, they both always screw it up, TNA especially will find a way, much like they screwed up HardCore Justice last year. Only reason they are still running is because that MILF Dixie Carter's parents still supply her with money.

Smackdown! Spoiler for several months down the line:

After zero crowd reaction, Johnny Curtis is future endeavored.

Regarding SD spoilers:

I'm guessing Sheamus is now out for a while since he got punted? And what's the point of having a rematch from Raw if you're going to have the exact same results and it's not going to do anything but continue to hold down talented wrestlers like Cody?

WWE sources confirmed this morning that Randy Orton did suffer a legitimate concussion over the weekend during the company's international tour.

I am told no decision has been made on whether he will be allowed to work the PPV this Sunday and it will be a "day of game" decision made by the company's doctors. The hope is that he'll be cleared to work Christian in some capacity.

ROH are holding a press conference on the 24th to announce the details of their upcoming TV show. Hoping we get confirmation of how they're going to handle the online viewing, whether it'll be live streamed or on demand, or preferably both.

Also, Homicide vs Rhino at ROH's Best in the World 2011 iPPV has been made a No Hold Barred Street Fight!

And here's a video from Steve Corino & Jimmy Jacobs ahead of Corino's match against Michael Elgin at Best in the World;

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zdCFgCVywFQ

Corino is still awesome on the mic, I wonder who the other person he hinted at was? Kevin Steen?

Smackdown writers are lazy?
Oh no, the actual correct answer is that every writer is scared shitless to suggest ANYTHING right now due to Crazy Vince's micromanagement.

In other news, Freddie Prinze Jr. is quitting Smackdown to go do something more fruitful with his life (not that knocking up Buffy the Vampire Slayer isn't fruitful).

The Smackdown audience didn't watch Raw, silly. That's a completely different audience, so there's no way they would have known about the match!

or TNA for that matter, but yes they make no sense, its like a rule of wrestling that things have to make no sense.....much like a water bottle can take out Cena but he can survive every other thing known to man.

So apparently rumors are floating that this Fall, WWE is going to start having a Raw Pregame show, think college football pre game, right before Raw that would move the start time to 8:30

They already do a 15 minute one in Canada. Very forgettable and not worth watching. They already recap stuff on the show anyway.
