There's a 3-hour RAW tomorrow night, btw.
Nobody cares 'cause they'll waste it trotting out veterans, padding it with skits, burying people to Cena and Orton and not building up the PPV they have 6 days later.

Best thing we could hope for is an unlikely Y2J return (I do figure we're likely to see an appearance from Son-In-Law). Me? I'll be busy watching hockey so I won't care regardless.

Eric Young has the tv title after he tricked Gunner and rolled him up for a win. TNA is fucking over the Pope. I think he has been on Xplosion lately. Yes, Angeline Love is that skinny. Apparently TNA also told another woman wrestler to take up smoking to lose some weight recently.

Jesus, now that they've ruined the X-Division there's only the tag match to look forward to. What a horrible, shitty looking card.

In fairness Kendrick/Kazarian/Abyss could be an ok match and Jarrett/Angle should be great in ring. Since Hogan and Bischoff have came in though they've destroyed pretty much everything enjoyable about the promotion.

Yeah no way I'll watch with hockey playing, Tuesday repeat watch for me.

I'm not impressed with what I've watched over the last 3 months after my long hiatus from wrestling.

Call me crazy, but I've actually come around to the idea of Abyss in the X-Division for the moment.

Abyss' best matches in his career have mainly come about when he's acted as a base for a smaller guy such as AJ Styles, and he had a pretty great match with Kazarian a few weeks ago when he won the belt on Impact. But there is a fine line in regards to making sure that the rest of the guys in the division don't look like jokes in comparision, so it will be important for TNA to build up a credible underdog contender to take the belt away from Abyss soon. Whether Kendrick or Kazarian coud be that guy, I'm not too sure.

I'm sure Kendrick/Kaz could have a great match, but Abyss is just fucking awful and including a guy like that in any X-Division storyline is going against the actual point of the division. It's meaningless if a guy like Abyss can be the champion.

Also, I agree that Kurt/Jarrett will probably be one of the best matches on the card, but I'm just sick of this storyline and sick of seeing the two of them wrestle each other. But at least this one isn't in a cage, so Angle will have to find some other way to damn near kill himself.

WWE legend Kevin Nash is in the clear ... TMZ has learned -- after cops arrested him in Florida recently for allegedly laying the smackdown on some drunk guy ... for hitting on his wife.

According to the police report, obtained by TMZ, Big Sexy and his lady were leaving a restaurant after dinner, when a man approached Nash's wife and began chatting her up.

According to the report, Nash's wife told the guy to buzz off ... but he got aggressive -- so Nash stepped in and dropped him.

Nash held the man down until police arrived -- but in a cruel twist of fate, he ended up getting arrested himself on suspicion of battery, a charge that was eventually dropped due to lack of evidence.

Nash tells TMZ, he never should have been arrested -- and if he wanted to sue, he'd have a good case in court, adding, "I'm a 52-year-old fake fighter. My hands aren't deadly weapons."

Punk seems to want Austin at WrestleMania, badly. He's not the only one. Punk/Austin > Rock/Cena.
It's not like they did anything with Punk & Austin under the same roof last week. Instead they used Stone Cold to prop up "rising star" Alex Riley and to further put over R-Truth.

Why should tomorrow be any different? We may not even see Punk in the WWE after the summer is done. We're not excited now so we'll be even less excited when RAW goes Pepsi-Free.

It's also quite sad that TNA has to book its pay-per-view cards out of their fricken TV studio home base at Universal Studios.

Yeah I think everyone is sick of the Kurt/Jarrett feud. If Angle is serious about training for the Olympics I assume something major would happen tonight to write him off tv. I don't like Abyss as champion either. As ratings for these past few weeks show the fans don't care about anything going on either. They've been steadily dropping every week.

NEW YORK LAW FIRM CLAIMS FIVE MILLION DOLLAR SETTLEMENT FROM WWE
by Dave Scherer @ 9:00 AM on 6/12/2011

Gersowitz Libo & Korek, P.C. recently accepted a settlement offer of $5 million after 4 weeks of trial on behalf of a client who was injured in a low impact motor vehicle accident in downtown Manhattan. The client suffered a knee injury which resulted in surgical procedures and Complex Regional Pain Syndrome.

New York, NY (PRWEB) June 12, 2011

Gersowitz Libo & Korek, P.C., a leader among personal injury and medical malpractice firms in the New York area, recently settled a case (Index No 13451/08- Kimberly Benson v. World Wrestling Federation Entertainment, Inc. and Matthew T. Yackeren) for $5 million involving a knee injury caused by a low-speed, low-impact motor vehicle accident.

According to court documents, On November 2, 2007, Kimberly Benson’s car was struck in a sideswipe collision by a vehicle operated by Matthew Yackeren, an employee of World Wrestling Federation Entertainment. As a result of the low impact motor vehicle accident that occurred at a low rate of speed, Ms. Benson suffered a knee injury.

According to the case, Yackeren was driving a commercial van in the financial district of downtown Manhattan. While attempting to pass traffic, he backed up and then struck Ms. Benson’s jeep in the back driver side bumper with the side of his van. Damage to both vehicles was minimal.

Court documents show that Ms. Benson, a 41 year old mother and phlebotomy manager with a pre-existing knee injury, suffered a fracture of the cartilage in her knee and underwent several surgical procedures. In addition to the pain, degeneration of soft tissue and difficulty ambulating, Benson also developed Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS) aka Reflex Symptomatic Dystrophy (RSD), a debilitating chronic pain condition which rendered her disabled and incapable of working.

Benson sued World Wrestling Federation Entertainment and their driver, Matthew Yackeren, for past and future medical bills, lost wages and pain and suffering. The case (Index No 13451/08) went to trial, and the defense argued causation- the low impact accident that occurred at such a low rate of speed could not have caused an injury.

After four weeks of trial, both parties settled the case. Benson recovered $5 million from World Wrestling Federation Entertainment and Matthew Yackeren.
Andrew L. Libo, the attorney for Benson from Gersowitz Libo & Korek, P.C., was satisfied with the result. “Kimberly’s life and the life of her daughter will never be the same, due to this accident. We refused to settle this case before trial because we knew Kimberly deserved justice, and we were willing to fight as long as needed to ensure she was justly compensated.” The trial was conducted by Jeff S. Korek and Nicolas Bagley.

It's pretty crazy that WWE aren't doing more to keep Punk happy. Especially considering that, while he wants nothing to do with TNA, his former home promotion are readying to return to TV with a bigger deal than ever before that will let fans watch worldwide. Obviously I'd like to see the guy make as much money in this business as possible, but you can't deny that if he left WWE he'd be perfect as the face of ROH's new TV show.

WrestlingBay are streaming the two latest CHIKARA shows for free this afternoon at 3PM EST/8PM GMT.
Awesome! Will check these out if I can. Is it the two Anniversario shows?

I find it odd how most of the people on the poster aren't on the PPV nor a center point of the show.

The more interesting question would be why did they put Eric Young's goofy ass face on the poster?

Advertise "wrestling matters" with a focal point of the poster being all your home grown guys, most of whom are incredible. Then stick tired old WWE rejects in the upper card. This is the way of things in TNA.

Yep, really looking forward to Hallowicked vs Quack, The Colony vs Red & the Maximos and Kingston vs Taylor.
Everyone should watch this. If you stream the TNA PPV but not this then I really don't know whats wrong with you.

lol@TNA putting Joe, AJ, and CD together to remind us of that awesome 3 way they had.

They actually tricked me with it and I thought they were doing another 3 way tonight.

I would pay outrageous prices for DDT if they subbed their stuff or for fansubs.

Same here, I would love that as there's a lot of comedy in DDT shows you miss without Japanese language skills.

It's a pity that Japanese companies are only starting to now realise that there are western fans out there. DDT's store won't even ship overseas (I emailed them, they literally replied back with "no speak English", lol). NJPW have their youtube channel which I think is showing them that they have a lot of western fans, while Dragon Gate opened up a USA division (but there's still no way for western fans to legally get their hands on the Japanese product, unless they want to pay for 'best-of' DVDs that are horribly out of date).

I've managed to get someone from Japan to make me a copy of the Kota Ibushi outdoor matches DVD though, I'll see if I can upload it for you guys once it arrives.

Yeah, it really says something when people will lamp a TNA PPV but won't lamp an indy show. Seriously, to anyone on the fence, the shows will be awesome, I promise you. Google wrestlingbay. 8pm EST.

Actually, this sounds like a better idea.

Gonna be busy watching CEO/Revelations, but I have high hopes for the Joe/Crimson match.

And "high hopes" in this case means that they're not going to stink up the joint.

Nice opening match, Brodie Lee is always impressive as hell against much smaller opponents. Seemed to have some beef with Eddie Kingston post-match, who was at the commentary table.

Archibald Peck (lol) vs Frightmare is up next.

*edit, fucking LOL - Archibald Peck says that when Eddie Kingston gave him a Backfist to the Future he actually went to the future where he purchased a CHIKARA Sports Almanac so he knows who is going to win every match.

So good, they brawled outside and Ultramantis chopped Chuck Taylor while he was coming down a slide.
EDIT: Sinn Bodhi is apologising out of character for what he said at King of Trios. Kingston may still kill him.
