Question to anyone on WrestleGAF that has actually ordered an ROH PPV from Gofight live. How is their video quality usually? I'm not expecting a 720p stream from them but is it at least watchable if I put it out on a 32in screen? My Roku box just added them to their available channels and the Tag Title match is looking too good to pass up for $15

Yeah, it's obviously not the best quality, a bit lower than DVD, but it looks fine on my 26in TV via the PC.

IF ROH would just increase their production values it would be great. These hype videos are making me want to start watching it, but last time I watched I saw then fighting in what looked like a school gym and had to turn it off.

I'll never understand letting a crappy venue get in the way of watching awesome wrestling, because outside of WWE & TNA it's nothing but school gyms, national guard armouries and bingo halls, with the occasional show at somewhere like the Hammerstein Ballroom or Centre Stage. As long as the wrestling is good and the crowd are hyped, then it'll be a good show regardless of the venue.

No worries tonight though as the ROH iPPV is at the Ballroom, which always makes for a good atmosphere. Also, they'll be upgrading the production for the new TV show in September.

For me it's not so much the locations as it is the crappy camera work. Very disorienting at times.

Yeah, it's never too bad if they have the hard camera set up well and good cameramen for the handhelds, but on some indies the camera work is pretty awful. I'm kind of impervious to it at this point after all those ECW fan cam events I watched in the 90s.

I seriously do not remember a thing about Orton/Hogan or Orton/Dusty.

I hope I'm not the only one who actually liked Orton during his Legend Killer gimmick.

Here is the schedule for the ROH TV Schedule and stations for the new show.

http://weblogs.baltimoresun.com/spo.../roh_announces_tv_schedule_stations.html#more

Some of the times are odd like Lexington its on at sunday at midnight.

Needs to be on in Dallas. Guess I'll stick to the internet version for now. Also rumor has it Chavo is going to TNA as they showed interest in him in the past and Hector Guerrero is on the spanish announce team. Mexico America or whatever the fuck they are called needs a new leader I guess lol

There's something to be said about the fact that ROH doesn't have PPV's every 3 weeks, and how good I feel about dropping money when they finally do have one.

Plus that fact that it's $15 instead of $60 or whatever the WWE charges nowadays.

Same here, it really helps build the hype when shows are months apart rather than weeks, especially as ROH aren't booking from PPV to PPV like WWE nowadays.

For anyone one the fence about the iPPV there's a free 30 minute preview show that's going to start in 15 minutes;

for the regular roh viewers, is eddie edwards considered a a better roh champion than roderick strong and tyler black?

The fans have taken to him quicker than either - they took too long with pulling the trigger on Tyler, so the fans kinda turned on him, and I don't think they fully had confidence is Strong's run at first, although he proved that wrong with a good reign in the end. The surprising thing was how quickly they took to the idea of Edwards as champion, as no one expected it to be him.

I was shocked by how behind Edwards the Japanese fans were in that NOAH match he had against Kotaro Suzuki earlier this year.

Oh look, I see Hermy. And he's excited!

Nice "FUCK TNA" chant from the crowd to celebrate Jay Lethal's return.
And a "Randy Savage" chant to follow up to encourage some Black Machismo antics from him.

And they're throwing Slim Jims at the ring. Holy shit!

Batista on his weight loss: "Gave up the weights, gluten, red meat, pork....down to 260...feel great. Leaner than ever though. I feel great at this weight."

I love Kaitlyn and A.J. I can't decide which one I love more though. They're both so awesome.

I think my wife is on to me. She was going through the DVR and was about to delete Smackdown and I was like,"Wait! I didn't see if Kaitlyn or AJ were on it yet!" and she looked all suspicious of me.

Damn, that spot was crazy - thought Claudio was going to powerbomb King from the top at first, then Shelton comes out of nowhere and just suplexes both of them.

Also, Mark Briscoe is crazy, doesn't even look before he does that triangle asai moonsault.
