Same shit as the Alien Quad set. Wait 6 months and they will be released individually, people (because no one wants to own anything but the original).

Europe still has no individual releases for the Alien movies....

And yeah I kind of only want the original Jurassic Park.

Illness is the doctor to whom we pay most heed; to kindness, to knowledge, we make promise only; pain we obey.
How can it be a trilogy if there's only 2 movies? o.ô

Yep. Not dropping a damn dime on the other 2. Will wait for individual releases.

Say what you will about the sequels, but DAY ONE. Unless it's really expensive.

It's got to be around $50 for the set. Maybe less after Amazon's usual launch week sale.

$50/hour, but no kissing on the lips and colors must be pre-separated
+ JP1 finally in glorious 1080p in my eager hands.
- Trying to force the mediocre sequels on us to inflate the price.

I love the first move, but I'll be waiting until I can just get the one I'm actually interested in.

Day one. #1 is an all-time classic. Loved #3 for what it was. #2 was ok.

instabought...

been waiting for the blu-ray. also I'll never understand the JP2 hate. i agree 3 was pretty damn bad, but i thoroughly enjoyed JP2.

I actually enjoyed all three movies, so I'll be getting this set for sure.

Of course, the original Jurassic Park is amazing, but I just found the latter two titles fun and campy. Still the best dinosaur movies I think I've ever seen.

It's a shame that The Lost World wasn't a translation of the book, instead of the made up fan-fiction that was the actual film. I actually think the Lost World book was more engaging to me than the original Jurassic Park book, but they are still two of my favorite Crichton novels.

Anyway, this is great news. Looking forward to the release. JP still holds up remarkably well in the special effects department. The dinos in the later movies looked more cartoony.

No way will the CG hold up in HD

I watched the HD version on TNT and I thought it held up quite well.

Good lord. Between this, LotR Extended Edition, Star Wars and when Smallville Season 10 comes out, I'm going to blow all my money on fucking movies this fall.
