Word. I bought the Alien Blu-Ray box when it came out, and while the set itself is a thing of beauty, the only movie worth owning out of that quadrilogy is the first. I refuse to get burned again out of boxed set excitement, and will wait for JP1's lone blu, which I'm sure will be out in mere months.

Universal hasn't exactly been the speediest with unboxing their catalog films; BttF is still boxed together with no word on singles a year after its release. Even the Bourne Trilogy took more than a year to get unboxed.

The book is great despite being inconsistent with the first novel. I just bought the kindle version recently as the last time I read it was 5 or 6 years ago. It is NOTHING like the movie from what I remember.

The [Lost World] book is better than the movie in every conceivable way. You cannot imagine my fury as a young teenager going to the movies looking forward to seeing some of the scenes in the book, and getting that piece of bloody corn-filled rat shit instead.

Throwing my JP1 DVD in the PS3 for a watch. The last few JP threads have made it too difficult to resist.

Love the movie, but this is the first DVD I've watched in a while that wasn't a television show, and the difference in quality is noticeable. I'll definitely invest in this on bluray one day.
