So some guys and I just stepped outside for a smoke and we planned to bring our DS's in today. I have had the DS since launch and have been mostly "meh" with the system. I liked Mario 64 of course and Wario Ware. I played the Metriod Demo single player training stuff a lot and havent really had a chance to play multi.

Let me say.... that was INSANELY fun. The best part was watching how everyone played different. I use the stylus to move and L to shoot, while another guy used the thumbstrap. It was actually a lot more fun than I thought it would be and must say I am really looking forward to this full game (hopefully with some single player stuff) and Mario Kart.

Fun times indeed. Anyone know if there has been any info on the single player mode of Metroid Prime Hunters??

I really hope that Mario Kart gets online play. If they have to delay it a few months, so be it.

An online Smash Bros. would really propell the DS into a crazed state of sales. Come on Nintendo, get with it.

Hell yeah Metroid Hunters demo is great.

The touchscreen is the closest thing to keyboard and mouse precision possible on a handheld. And the game looks easily beyond n64 capabilities IMO.

Hoping it leads the way for more DS Online FPS games!.

Out of all the games I've gotten to try multiplayer, Metroid Prime Hunters has been the most fun by far. The control set-up with the stylus to look works great and it's a definite advantage for FPS games on the DS compared to other handhelds. Here's hoping it gets online play.

LoL Catfish... I won 2 out of the 5 the thumbstrap guy won 2 also and one of the other guys won one...

There is just something about using the stylus to look around and the dpad to strafe with L to fire.... it is just so PC like u know?

Online Oli.... all I can say is PLEASE BE ONLINE haha... but yeah... has anyone heard anything about the single player mode yet?

We just went at it again and this time we tried out some of the other stages... awesome.. i didnt know that you could get a new gun in one of them... It makes the opponent all staticy.....

This NEEDS to be online.... got a couple people leaving the building watching and saying that it looked really good and fun... made some DS hopefuls lol...


We got back in and now are taling smack on Picto chat LOL...
