Any I got home last night after going out to dinner with friends and then to the pub, and I fished KOTOR pretty drunk. For some reason I have a habit of coming home from pub or club and finishing games.

Anyway the game was fantastic but a few improvements I would like to see in KOTOR 2

- Better Building architecture, most buildings look generic and dull they could use a bit of character.

- More Civilian NPC models a few too many faces were repeated here and there

- Better party customization, if I am not going to use a party member I don’t think they should be tagging along.

The game is up there with the finest I have played, I was satisfied with light side ending but before KOTOR 2 comes out in Australia February I am going to play though the game again
this time furling my dark Destiny

Also one question

What is the downloadable content?

No downloadable content. It was all LIIIIES!

Dopey: I thought there was supposed to be more? I'm surprised there's even that.

Hehe that’s a decent side quest, February 11 in Australia.

If I am not mistaken KOTOR 2 picks up from the dark side ending so it’s probably better that I get the ending before the game comes out.

The sith academy was so much fun, I was so tempted to fall to the power of the darkside.

Also some classic dialogue was when Admiral Saul was questioning me and

Admiral: were is the hidden Jedi enclave

Chest Rockwell: Alderran, the jedi are on Alderran

I couldn’t stop laughing

Actually, Kotor 2 asks you some questions at the start to determine wether you had the light or dark ending and adjusts accordingly.

The downloadable content featured an
awesome battle on the space station between your party and some mercenaries
, plus you could buy some cool stuff.

What the Hell? I'm going to have to play through it FOUR TIMES?

Yeah the content is worth getting, nothing new story wise though.

I cant wait till next week.

From what I gather there is no mention of revan in KOTOR 2! I swear he will have to show up somewhere they can’t just give a lame accuse death of such a powerful Jedi.

Bugs in KOTOR? I was very surprised at the lack of bugs in a fully 3D rpg.

Carth glitch caused you to have to start over after about 30-40 hours if you got caught in it and didn't have a backup save from before
you landed on Darth Maul's ship
.

There was other stuff, like you were supposed to get cool item for beating a guy in Pazzak enough times but there was a glitch that prevented you from getting the item from him.

Also the game had too many annoying loading screens (like fable), which were especially accentuated when say you participated in the racing mini game. Some xbox's experienced game crashes during these load screens.

There was one cool "glitch" where you could trigger the developers built in debug mode in the form of a "galaxy droid". This droid appeared on your ship and took you wherever you wanted to go.

I'm sure there were other glitches that I'm forgetting too. (I used to post on bioware's awesome KotOR board.)

I loved KotOR for the incredible environments, the great story, the entertaining dialogue trees and the multiple ways to complete missions.

But I was a bit dissapointed that the combat system in KotOR II is more or less the same; I hope they found a way to add more strategy to it but I'm not optimisitic. My biggest complaint with KotOR was the combat, I found it to be a real yawn fest after about 10-15 hours. The combat is either an automated "turn based" movie or (depending upon your game settings) true turn based requring very little strategy most of the time. Some battles were alot of fun and required you to come up with a good strategy, but I found them to be few and far between.

I have too big of a backlog right now so I'm probably gonna wait for a price drop to play KotOR II.

I thought that bug was going to be a game stopper for me. However, some guy on the official boards came up with some weird button mashing solution that got around the glitch for me. I think thats the first time seemingly random button mashing actually did something useful in a game for me. :lol

When I was playing the game for all of August 2003, there was no such solution that I knew about. Glad to see it's not a game ending glitch anymore.

That is weird Deku Tree.. I beat KOTOR three times and I don't remember Darth Maul in the game.

I knew I was getting his name wrong when I typed that :lol, it's been over a year since I played through KotOR for the 2nd time. Still I forget that guy's name, Darth what?
Darth Malak

I got stuck on the Carth glitch for over a week. One time I loaded up that save and it finally got past the part where it normally got stuck. Somebody must have made his Perception roll that time.

I didn't ever hit any of the bugs, and thank god for that as KOTOR is one of/if not my favorite single player experience this gen. I probably would have quit if some bug stopped my progress halfway through though.
