Just finished Minish Cap, and... (spoiler-free)

I'm in the
ice dungeon (temple of droplets)
now. The
maya
boss was great. The game feels very polished and is just lovely! :)

I finished it yesterday. Definitely the most fun I've had with Zelda in a long time. Up there with ocarina and WW in terms of atmosphere, story and character.

I must make a mental note to borrow my friends MM (gamecube version).

I lost count. There are some that aren't obvious 'here is a dungeon you must pass through' but they are still puzzly dungeons. I think
6 or 8

...that was just awesome. Possibly my favorite 2D Zelda ever. What a fantastic game!

High praise indeed! I was getting the game anyway, but you're definately helping my excitement levels :D

NDS + Mario 64 DS + Feel the Magic + This Zelda for Christmas = me very happy

indeed, i've been playing this alot and wow, prob the best game on GBA, the music is awesome and the gfx kicks ass, and it plays just like zelda.

it really sucks you in and the game-world and dungeons are really designed superbly, it has those things that make it an awesome game. there are some really nice music in this game, the minish woods and village tracks, the swamp track. i really wanna hear these tracks on the new zelda maybe and fully orchestrated.

capcom and nintendo did an awesome job. thank you.

Alright infidels. With DS and everything, I can afford only one.

Minish Cap or Paper Mario?

Sell your DS. Buy both. Problem solved.

Seriously, though. They're both must-own games. Whichever one you buy now, you need to pick up the other further down the line.

Sadly I havnt had as much time to play this as I wish I did. But after 3 dungeons I've got nothing but praise for this game so far. The graphics are simply gorgeous and all the new items give it some fresh gameplay elements. Hyrule town is huge aswell especially with the shrinking thing. At first I thought that the map was tiny but after much exploration its definately a lot bigger than it looks.

Also, that heart container outside the 3rd dungeon really stumped me and I never got it. Do I suck at games?

How many dungeons total?
There's basically six full-size dungeons and a couple of 'mini' dungeons along the way. The bosses totally kicked ass, especially the last two. Damn.

Ah, thats good to hear john. After playing this, which is the first 2d zelda I ve played apart from 4 swords, Ive decided to get around to playing the other 2d games asap. I guess I can open up that collection disc now and give MM a try while Im at it.
