Man, that could be the trailer for a clip show. Seems like the same stuff we have seen over and over in the past seasons.

I'll probably start my series rewatch next month.
Is this the season when Ava forcefully returns to her coffin and leaves us for good?

Just Raylen vs Boyd in Harlan. I like it.
I think he was, but he never showed up. This time seems a little more likely.Wasn't he supposed to be in last season too? Not that I don't believe it this time
Can anyone remind me why Ava decided to sell Boyd out? It seemed like she was in prison and then just magically she decides for flip on Boyd.

The S5 blu-ray and dvd are out today.
The final season premiere picks up withRaylan in, of all places, Mexico, where his U.S. Marshals badge curries him exactly zero favor. (But when has that ever stopped him from getting what he needs?) The episode also features a moment so abrupt and shocking, you will jump out of your seat.
After seeing Alan in Dollhouse and Justified i wouldn't even be mad if he ended up as a villain typecast in TV shows.I rewatched the S5 premiere (A Murder of Crowes) and Shot All to Hell (Alan Tudyk as Canadian assassin) the other night as part of my rewatch. It holds up very well, particularly the latter episode. Nice work from Nick Searcy.

Fascinating to watch him play bad guy roles.
It's funny because S5 benefitted from having so many talented actors doing guest appearances towards the front end of S5, but it was a little disappointing how quickly they tore through them. I hope Garret Dillahunt and Sam Elliot get a lot of material this season before their inevitable run-ins with Raylan or Boyd.
Alan makes a better heel, as does Michael Chiklis.Wash

They both play good "good" guys but when that heel turn comes :O
From Ausiello:
Also, the main cast the final season is listed as Olyphant (Raylan), Goggins (Boyd), Searcy (Art), Pitts (Gutterson), Tazel (Rachel), Carter (Ava), and Burns (Wynn).
The serious excess of Ava, prolly.

I've seen the first three new episodes, and it looks like we may have the most intoxicating arc since season two, when Margo Martindale justifiably won an Emmy as murderous moonshiner Mags Bennett.
:OEven the underused Erica Tazel and Jacob Pitts, as Raylan's fellow marshals, are given decent screen time.
