Drink You Away has a big Memphis blues/ folk rock influence. JT going back to his roots, I guess.
It's a much different sound than the typical Timbo production for sure, almost makes me think someone else did it.
He has been co-producing with J-Roc since he split with Danja Handz (Danja co-produced Futuresex with Timbo and Justin). J-Roc has his own kind of beats.
About half way through the album and couldn't agree more. So long and so, so plain.
TKO isn't so hot either.

Heh, I was thinking the same thing after another listen especially with Halloween coming up. The album has really grown on me. Loving the hell out of Cabaret.

The first one sold 987k first week (lets just say 1 mil), but that was after a two month marketing blitz with a concert at the Super Bowl, hosting SNL, Timberweek on Fallon, and a shitload of tv commercials with Target. He has none of that this time around.
His singles for Part 1 were also poppin back then, whereas I don't think TBTN ever really took off ( at least not to the level of S&T or Mirrors), and its too early to tell on TKO.
You also have to consider that he's launching in the same week as Drake, who has much more fan crossover with JT than the average mainstream rapper.
All that considered, I could see a 350-400k drop from the first week for Part 1. I'll go 625k, just losing to Drake.
