I thought the album is set for Spring 2012 right? It's not done yet.

Kanye West - Good Music

Is he bank rolling an album he'll have no part of?

I wonder about that also, I'd like the entire album to the Kanye produced but Pusha T already confirmed No ID doing tracks, which I don't mind, but I bet there will be 4-5 other producers as well

please God limit Big Season to ad libs

According to a couple of reports, Kanye debuted some beats from his next solo project and a few completed songs from the upcoming G.O.O.D. Music compilation during a DJ set at the Le Baron London last night. To which I say, camera phone footage or it didn’t happen.

WE IN THERE.

kanye should have been smart enough to do the premade ableton set like everyone else

especially for the first show
He would never. Rather try his best and screw up then put on a fake show. At least that's what he told me when I asked him the other day

Eh, reviews/impressions from all types are important in whether I give a record a shot. Of course I will listen to an album if it's from an artist i'm familiar with.

Kanye gets my ears regardless of course.

Other than that verse, which I'll admit wasn't so bad, I don't see anything promising about him.

I didn't listen to his mixtape that he released not too long ago, I kinda feel like he would only appeal to me when he features on Kanye's stuff, and that's only cause Kanye is a slave driver in the studio when it comes to his music.

I think his voice is silly as shit. He does bring the ruckus on So Appalled and I Wish (Yelawolf) though.

Big Sean....I think he's lame as shit but I enjoyed Finally Famous. Man this GOOD music album doesn't have much of a lineup behind it :/

Mos Def, Common, Kanye, Cudi...what is this based on?!

The only reason I'm hyped for this is because of Kanye. Cudi isn't what he used to be, and Cyhi/Sean do absolutely nothing for me. Maybe there will be some nice features? Kind of like a Good Friday album.

Is there some reason people think this will be bad or not feature certain people much? Did you guys not listen to the GOOD Friday's tracks? Did you guys not like them? I figure if we get that with...more focus, cuz it's an album, this'll be awesome

Common isn't a part of GOOD Music the label anymore. He'll get a feature though for sure since he's still part of the family and affiliated/identifying with GOOD Music. Well, how can he not when it resurrected his career.

Hope it has more Ye, Mos, Common and John Legend than everyone else.
No CuDi on your list? I am disappoint.

No way he can top MBDTF. That shit dropped a year ago and I still listen to it almost every day. So damn good.

But I'm sure he could come close, and that would be awesome.

Thanks, I guess it's not a sample.

Fucking love that song.

Cross posting from GAF-Hop thread:

A source close to Def Jam has informed me that the tentative first single from the upcoming G.O.O.D. Music compilation is to be “Lamborghini, Murci.” The track, which was produced by Phoenix-based producer Lifted, is set to feature Kanye West, Pusha T and Big Sean.

No word on when this is to drop, but I’ve heard it’s a monster.
