I like it because then I can just delete the track without having to worry about cutting out anyone with talent on the song

I never got the love Cudi got for Man on the Moon. Maybe it's because I'm not sad all the time.

Only time I can stand Cudi is when he's doing hooks.

its the kind of thing lames like when they're 15 and smoke weed for the first time and dislike their parents

Motm was fucking amazing. So was his mixtape. Motm 2 was good. Everything else has been sub par.

This, I enjoyed everything up to MotM 2, but that WZRD shit was lame. Just What IAm sounds alright, we'll see where he goes with it. Man after listening to these snippets again, I'm sorry but this is sounding real disappointing, outside of the songs already released.

Sin City is pretty masturbatory yeezy.

Not feeling much of the songs I didn't already have. It's a great album off the strength of those songs, but I was hoping for a few more real bangers.

Big Sean showed promise in his early mixtapes.

Then he found out what would sell. And it's radio-made garbage.

Really? He's sounded pretty much always the same to me. He stopped using his "Supa Dupa" flow after everyone played it out and now he has signature (and occasionally annoying) ad-libs.

eh Big Sean is far better off now than he was back then. 2012 Big Sean has a much better work ethic and a clearer vision of what kind of artist he wants to be than 2009 Big Sean.

plus his voice actually sounds like he puts some effort into his verses now.
as far as actual lyrical ability, he's still the same as he always was, but that was never his selling point.

Cudi will more or less go back to his "lane" with his new indicud album, I hope. Just What IAm (feat. King Chip)

and no leak
yet
, I was referring to the first line Kanye said on the album.

Oh hell yes. This is Cudi's niche. Loved MotM, never heard the second one (will eventually get it), and I haven't heard much about WZRD. Cudi doesn't do well with the "money-hos-n-rims" rap, and Kanye's going that direction now . I miss the old Kanye, and I wish he'd say something significant rather than some of his current mindless raps. When I hear Cudi on the new Kanye stuff, it sounds forced and unnatural. I'm a huge Cudi fan and hope he doesn't try too hard to be hard, because he's not.

Not really, Big Sean is probably one of the few artists whos changed the least from pre-record deal to post.

His new mixtape sounds like it's an old FF Vol.

As soon as Kid Cudi stops being so self indulgent and mopey, he might make a pretty great album because I feel like he has some good ideas. I still have hope.

The first track with R. Kelly has to be produced by Hudson Mohawke. Almost sounds like the beat is taken straight from his 'Butter' album.

Anyone else as mindfucked as I am hearing R.Kelly make a Chappelle reference?

I've been thinking about that since the snippets came out.
