It was doing that for me in the morning on both my iphone and ipad but it's working now.
Assuming that the Spotify version is the iTunes US version then I'm not really noticing much difference apart from the acapella part in I Am a God and maybe...maybe clearer autotune vocals in the New Slaves outro.

Finally listened to the album in its entirety.
As a longtime Ye stan since 2003's Rocafella Dream Team and "We Are the Champions", and lover of all albums (even 808) I absolutely hate this album. His lyrics are so bad, and the beats go over my head.
MBDTF was the apex, a combination of art and hip-hop in all of its gaudy over-produced goodness.
But when I listen to Yezus, I have a mental image of rap snobs wandering streets of Paris wearing tight yellow corduroys, green and hot pink plaid shits, holding a boombox covered in fur blasting this album only because they're told the music is trendy... not because its actually good, sonically.
Bound 2 is excellent though. The rest, no. And I love Daft Punk so I'm very distraught at the moment.

How could you not? The sample literally smacks you in the face.
I feel like the litmus test for this album is if the only track you like is Bound 2, then it's not for you. Bound 2 is really just feeding hungry College dropout and late registration fans and it sounds like a throwback to that. Also the bolded is a really dickish thing to say, I love the production on this album so much, ever since we had cam footage of the new slaves video I was down with this album and the sound it was going for. It's not for everyone and it was always going to be divisive.
Bye, I barely listen to hiphop, I've never been to Paris and I don't own any fur, and Yeezus shits.

This is way better than I was expecting. After SNL and general impressions I thought this was going to sound like some German Mini-Disc that Other Music wants $70 for.

I suppose that was going too far. Its not meant as a knock against the fans but more towards Kanye's pretention levels, which are insanely high in this album though his lyrical skill in this don't warrent the boast.

Listened to the full album about 3 times.
When people say there are no singles on it, they should just say there are no good songs on it.
I only like I'm In It, and even that is chock full of cringeworthy lines. I can put up with a lot lyrically (English being my second language acts like a bit of a buffer), but that's just too much.

There is more to music than just lyrics
There's more to food than salt, but if salt is the only thing you can taste, it doesn't really matter anymore.
It has never been this distracting. At least to me.

I would say that Blood On The Leaves could definitely be that 'single'/great song that some people are looking for. Next to I'm In It it's my favorite.

After some repeated listens I've come to the conclusion that Hold My Liquor is the only bad track on this, mostly due to Chief Keef's vocals. Sorry, I just can't take a auto tunes 17 year old singing about the dangers of alcohol serious. He's a 17 year old black rapper from Chicago, don't give me that shit about 'your bitches' not being able to handle you and you not being able to handle your liquor. You're not even legally allowed to drink alcohol.

Not feeling it. I like the first few tracks but on the whole this is one of his worst outings. The complaint about the lyrics was spot on, they've never been so noticeably cringe worthy. Tongue in cheek it kind of works, yelling eating Asian pussy with sweet and sour sauce though, come on man. I get that the dude is attempting something and I give him props for not repeating himself but this album could have been executed a lot better.
I haven't cared about lyrics on a Kanye joint since Late Registration, which coincidentally is the last time his lyrics were decent. He hasn't really gone for that since then, either. Seems he realized quickly he wouldn't be eating off of his serviceable at best rhymes, which is fine. Yeezus is a product of that thought process being embraced to its fullest - much better than his kinda sorta effort with MBDTF.

Maybe I was being a bit to extreme lol. But Kanye definitely has tons of really cheesy lines on the album that I'd see from Wayne.

True. But an amazing album has equal parts ear pulsing fist pumping produced beats and lyrics/bars with a flow woven in to create harmony.
More than a few songs have decent parts or halves only to be interrupted by off the wall lyrics or effects in the second half. Meh
.
The albums lyrics are dumb like this on purpose, look at any of his previous albums and the lyrical effort was much greater than in yeezus even though a lot of his lines had his signature cheesiness (which really makes his music imo). This album is meant to be dumb, high energy music and a lot of it would bang in the club.

I don't know about big, but imo it's substantial enough. It's mastered slightly better and there is mixing tweaks throughout. Even if they aren't massive, it's the superior version of the album.
