For me, personally, it was about the fact that PIZZA HUT is responding to his tweets period. I guess I let that fact gloss over the racism.

It's just some low level empoyee hired to type the tweets; probably doesn't run them by anyone before hitting submit.

I really don't understand why people don't get this; it's not Pizza Hut responding, it's some dude.
 
Well, piracy for this album just shot up infinitely.

Very few people are going to subscribe to a monthly service just because of one album.

I don't really get twitter though. Even when I have made several accounts over the years, I forget the passwords or even e-mails used with them. I remember one of the accounts even had someone log/break in to it, change the picture to some guy and write in the bio that he "worked for the government". I have been major "hax" targeted before. Twitter is strange to me.

Edit: I also recently had a restaurant owner I'm tight with confirm that someone came in after I was there last time, asking for/about me. So now I basically give a fake/random name anytime I have to go somewhere, feel like I can barely go out in public, and will apply to finish getting my licence to own a gun eventually when things are more stabilized in my life. Years ago, I tried buying a stun gun/mace set, but the country I live in likes to stop women from owning anything for self-defence, and then abuse the shit out of them and do nothing about it after instead. Sweeping it under the rug like a bunch of cowards.

It has been around for a little bit. Jay Z got a lot of his artist friends to change their social media profiles and try to encourage fans to use it. I think the big draw for the listener is supposed to be the higher audio quality compared to Spotify or Pandora. For the musicians, I guess they get a bigger cut of the pie than they would with the other streaming services.

I have to imagine tidal paid him a significant fee to keep it exclusive.
 
Very kind of Kanye to make it harder for people to listen to that overfilled garbage scow of an album.
