Got in my car this morning and I hear this chorus on the radio "I got the eye of the Tiger.....", and I was immediately like "this is awesome".

Hoping it shows up on Rdio tomorrow. :)

If you pay attention you'll notice she takes her ear piece out right as the song is beginning. Likely because it was malfunctioning in some way, might have been giving feedback in her ear, echoing, etc. The ear piece is how you hear your backing band fed right into your ear. Without that it's definitely more difficult to stay on key.

Singing live like this is far more difficult than people think.

She's not a Michael Jackson, nor is she a Whitney or a Mariah, people that we will remember. She's Rihanna with a bunch of tween fans that will love her and that's it.

Rihanna is nothing without her management and that's pretty much a fact. She's no different than Britney Spears without being 'Britney Spears'. Both lacking talent in vocals but makes it up with catchy pop songs and great management. At least Britney could dance and her shows weren't boring.

... PS... Miley And Selena!?!? Are you serious? I love Miley, not a fan of Selena but look at who she influenced. Two Disney Channel stars that are B rated artist.. Come on. Let me see her influence people hyper than her and you can have a say but Miley and Selena psssh.. Taylor Swift has more influence lol.

omg guys this will make such an awesome concluding number for the episode of glee where finn dies in a tragic offscreen car accident and the gang unites to express through song that though they have suffered great tragedy, they're gonna come ROARING back!!!<3<3<3
 
So any word on when the video for Roar is dropping? There's a TV spot with footage from the music video floating around so I assume that means the video is imminent? Possibly timed for release during Katy's VMA peformance? I like the song but to be honest I enjoy seeing Katy's videos to her songs more than the music itself (Firework for example, which had an awe inspiring video or Last Friday Night which had an entertaining one). Anyone know?
