So I am using bittorrent to get various songs.....the only problem is the BT site I am using has a so-so selection of mp3s...

I am now looking for a 2nd file sharing program/service...

Ideally, I would like one huge ad/spyware/virus/RIAA-free site where I could type up "MGS3 soundtrack" and find a few versions of that file...would Kazaa Lite K++
fit this discription?

Is this the best version of kazza?

Kazza has the most users, right?(some crazy number like 3mil users on the weekends, IIRC?).....I'm thinking that if it has a lot of users I might be able to find just about everything I could want.....thats what I believe anyway....

Is Kazza still the best or should I go with something else?

I have never used Kazza before and its all a bit confusing for me....all the different versions, that is...

So which is the newest, anti-RIAA version of kazza again?....and what is ares lite?

Don't bother with Kazaa unless you want really really obscure stuff that isn't available on soulseek.

If Soulseek doesn't work out for you, try using DC++. It's a little trickier to use then most p2p programs, but I've found it's a goldmine for more obscure, hard to get stuff.

I've been able to find everything on soulseek. It's easier to find stuff if you join a chat channel of people with the music you're looking for and ask them if they have the song or browse their library for it. You'll find stuff that doesn't show up in searches for whatever reason.
