Got the game yesterday, i played it for 20 minutes.
my jaw dropped several times at the art direction, at the cheerful atmosphere, at the funny voice dialogues, at the awesome flying sections... but when i actually landed on earth, just MEH.

I played hours of Metroid Prime Hunters and i know i'll probably play this one too, but the controls are just not there.
You have to force yourself to play that way, Circle Pad Pro should have been mandatory or AT LEAST an option.

Make sure in the options, you turn SpotPass on. Now, never turn your 3DS off. Just always close it and leave it in the dock or something. It'll keep an internet connection and you'll recieve things when they go out.

NES KI is just as hard as I remember. It took me like 8 tries to beat the first stage.
I think Renegade Kid could do a good 2D KI like Mutant Mudds. Just a thought.

It did seem challenging. Can't wait to try it out post-June (Having reached 600coins for Nclub).
I played a couple games yesterday and had absolutely no lag.
I'm curious to see if it'll get worse now that it is officially out.
The game is a blast, btw. Took me some time getting used to the ground controls, but it's already become second nature. Intensity 9, here I come !

Make sure you watch the Tutorials from the main menu. They cover some stuff said ingame, but are different. And many are hilarious and reference other Nintendo games. The first part had a funny moment that made me chuckle:

I'm in the same boat. I'm considering going through with my Gamestop purchase for the code on the receipt, and then returning the game to the Gamestop that's near my local Best Buy.
The sucky thing is I held off on preordering until just a few days ago, because I was waiting to see if anyone had any deals on this. Best Buy also was offering the free Kid Icarus Classic code with preorder, but their employees are usually clueless when it comes to making sure a preorder bonus code gets emailed to you.
Yes. The package has been dispatched already and my CC has been charged, but reading the email I can still send it back when it arrives.
My dilemma is: how can I resist keeping it now? I don't know if I'm going to be able to just send it back when it arrives.

Are you sure they won't sell the card packs in America? I got a pack of the cards from the tournament yesterday, and they were clearly labeled for resale.
Game's fun so far, though. It has a lot of extra things to do, yet curiously no minigames... That's not very Sakurai-like.

I don't think it is 60fps, though my eyes could be wrong. But the framerate is very smooth and consistent, which is the most important thing for me.
