This game is the shit. Usually when I get owned all the time I get agitated, but in this game I am always just so mesmerized by the awesome all around that I can't be bothered to feel bad about sucking.

Played a few games with FFObsessed. I was running around healing everyone and reviving, cleaning out areas. I though I was doing well and was 3rd on my team, but FF had almost twice as many points as the guy in second!

Even with the beta the wait until Feb. will be very painful. I almost feel more sorry for the people who have the beta and will go through withdraw then for the people that never got the beta . . .

DAMN! I finally found the server they were playing in, killed "gamespot4" 3 times but they'd finished the show! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! So close to killing him live! ha
 
Gatta love how that one guy from Gamespot (Guy Cocker) said that he played the beta "extensively" and did not see any destructible environments, and this guy plays it live for 5 minutes and you see parts of the pillar crumble.

Thats pretty much the definition of owned right there.

I HATE being squad leader sometimes because people will spawn right in front of you while you're in a firefight. I think I killed a few Gaffers like that. I try really really hard not to kill but people just like to jump in my way. Haters I say! HATERS

It was a lot better when Rich was around. One thing you have to remember though is that they're doing all of this live, unlike the 1up Show.

Yeah that is true, but I think the cast on 1up seems better....even though I have only watched this for 10 minutes.
 
dang, came second in that gamespot game. Did come in right at the end tho. They switched from the "GAMESPOT" game they made to another one so it took a while for me to find it. At least I sniped Ryan MacDonald a number of times! :lol

haha that would have been great. Don't have one yet tho, will get the Official one when it's out on 28th.

I was hoping to go up to him and beat the crap outta his corpse with melee live on the show but alas I didn't get there in time. Good fun tho.

I swear everybody is acting like retards. How the hell do you render a tactician useless?
They didnt even spawn at the portable spawn points I threw down.
People blocking hallways...blocking 4+ ppl at a time. Would have to teamkill just to get past them.

I hope this is not what it's like when the game gets released.

Yeah, I was playing a game where my teammate took the speaker and ran back to our base and just hung out in the corner. A bunch of us were chasing him down wondering what was going on. I ended up just executing him (and someone else by accident - but I revived them) and tried to take the speaker back across. But then the guy spawned and started gunning us down (I think he was only going after me though - forunately the rest of the team just took him out). Weird, yet good times . . .

No doubt their will be griefers in the game. There always are for some reason. I suppose a lot of gamers are just lonely people disconnected from others, yet struggling for some form of validation.
 
Yeah, I was in that game with you [NGAF]FFObsessed (I was MikeP)... As bad as I was doing, gamespot4 was doing much worse and I made his head asplode at least a couple of times.

It's really laggy in just about every server I go to and everybody is playing like a retard.

Didn't they release a whole new wave of beta keys recently? I'm getting rocked, but it's probably because I get distracted by everything. I think I'm finally over the initial shock, but it's still quite different from other shooters.

If I had to compare it to anything, I'd say its gameplay is almost identical to COD4 but with much movement and motion blur (for the better, mind you.) Visually, it's a step in the realism direction merely because of how, and how much, the camera sways and bobs in conjuction with the amount of blur.

1) It will be like that unless you play only with friends/people you know. The more popular the game the worst it is, too.

2) This is why I think FPS devs need to seriously start considering NO friendly collision detection. It's so frustrating and lame on sooo many levels.
