Because it seems extremely unlikely that Sony's going to suddenly announce "Oh yeah, the game is coming out next week".
 
Sess is boss.

He needs to start podcasting and just so he can let those pent up feelings out more often. Because when he does speak his mind he's very informed and usually has something worth merit to say.

Yea, most likely just a slip up on his part. If the game really is releasing next week tho....holy shit. That would be such a fitting megaton climax to the hypetacular fanboy fueled fuckfest that KZ2 has become...

Many are talking purely from MP Beta experience. Demo is SP, thus you're not going to get what all of us that played MP are hyping the game about :P

And yes, Sessler is funny. I always asked Skip to get him on 1upyours back in the day, wanted him on the E3 podcast and such, but alas my wish never came to fruition.
 
I admit watching sess just go all out and vent on this was satisfying. But lets not forgot his blow up with J. Thompson, that shit was just embarrassing.

Has there ever, in the history of gaming been a more polarizing Game?
I mean some people Seem to want this game to be bad and sale badly.
I've been gaming since the atari 2600 and I cant remember a game that
inspired more irrational hate. I;ve never seen anything like it out side of
politics.

There's some very interesting psychology going on here.

So, I know the demos are going up tomorrow, but I haven't preordered. Soooo I'm kinda SOL so far as getting the NA demo. Is it difficult to set up an EU PSN account so I can DL it from the EU store?
 
Sessler is amazing. I might actually try watching X-Play one of these days.

Not at all, you just need a European address. All I did was Google a hotel in London.

Probably best to wait till tomorrow morning really. And even then, probably wont be up till late afternoon.

EU demo (which will most likely be the same thing) will be up earlier in the morning (for NA) im sure.

You should call them. I was worried about the same thing, gave them a call and was told that they were given code cards late. In other words you will not be receiving an email from them. Just call them.

I'm just hoping the demo goes up before I go to sleep. That way I can download it as I sleep and play it when I wake up. Time to make some coffee.

Doesnt Sony usually go by PST, and even then, dont they have to wait till the usual update, unless you mean EU demo.
 
I've heard its probably not going up until tomorrow afternoon, so yeahhhh...

and is it bad I think of killzone 2 when I'm driving at night in traffic?

I just haven't seen the polarization being any more or less then any other monster release... it always seems paramount each time the buildups get going. I remember unreal levels of love/hate for halo 3's impending release because the graphics on a visual fidelity level just didn't match up with expectations of what a Halo release should be... but was I just thinking that at the time because it was the most current hype-monster?
Reviews have been insanely positive, with the underlining opinion that GG delivered. Metacritic of like 94 last I checked. Every big game is going to get some varying opinions, that's just the nature of opinion.

On a personal level, I think GTA4 has been much more polarizing among reviewers and gamers... at least post-release, if that counts.
