i didn't even know 7-11 sold ps3 games. the one by my house only sells xbox 360 games. is 7-11 where people are getting their early copies from??

IIRC they have no care for release dates and dumped a few 360 titles days if not weeks before release lol.
 
Made a alt Euro account, just installed KZ2.

Now to see if the game is OMGZ the 2nd coming like GAF would have you believe...
 
^ I picked up Gears 2 from 7-11 before release. Chick was looking all over the case for the upc and didnt see a large orange "do not sell before" sticker....

I can see why they don't want plasma guns or laser rifles in their sci-fi game, but the game is set in the friggin year 2350, and by then it's fair to assume weapons would be a tad bit more advanced than those of, say, Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter!

I love the feeling and everything, but I hope we get more sophisticated stuff in KZ3. Like this:

After playing this demo all I can say anyone who thinks this isn't the best graphics (technically) on a console is in serious denial in my opinion.

Been playing Crysis on Enthusiast and KZ2 still does enough to put a smile on my (graphics whore ) face.

It will be dethroned on console by Texture-zilla's Uncharted 2 but KZ2 will take the spot light for now. Well done Dutchies on thish fantashtic effort.
 
What surprised me the most was how fun it is to throw grenades. They really got that nailed, nothing better then perfectly cooking a grenade to lob at someone on the move.

Played a lot of L4D with her.

And the problem with doing a speed run here is that I clear the beach of enemies before the AI squad mates cross under the bridge so there's a lot standing around and waiting for them to slowly get there then walk to the trigger point then for what's his face to come boost me up.

It seems the guy selling them got quite a few but they're only promotions ones (as in not retail) that's why you don't see any pictures of the blu-ray disc since it's the white one etc :O

Not sure about that US copy though :P
 
Update on my dead PS3 from playing KZ2 demo.

So last night I gave up after multiple tries to boot it up and went to bed. In the morning I turn it on to see what gives....and behold it boots and then just going to XMB as usual it asks me if I want to select HDMI as the ouput and then also sets the resolution and it goes to normal XMB. I am confused as to what happened but sooooo glad it did boot up :D :D :D. Have to go try playing some games on it and see every thing is ok. Probabaly I'll backup the HD before any thing else.

Damn I am @ work and have the itching to play the demo again. I hardly play demos more than twice (some like HAZE, FEAR2 I stopped in the middle and deleted them) but this and uncharted are my most played demos. :D. This game is at another level!!!!111!!

kz2 defense force is so so strong

i made a general statement and if i want to bitch about something i have every right to.

that being said i played the demo 4 times, was used to the controls on my 2nd run. it's a very pretty shooter (obviously)...but besides that...i don't know what the big deal is.

As long as you're willing to play it for weeks without the backend server structure, great. Ease down Ripley, unless you've got terminal brain cancer and are going to die in the next two weeks the wait isn't going to cause you any hardship.

The little details in this game are truly ridiculous. I've played that warehouse senario over and over again. I <3 fucking with the AI, running around like an idiot with a knife.
My personal favorite is to kill everyone and leave only 1 Helgan remaining; Hide-and-seek tiiiiiiiiiime...with a knife!
