This is an assumption based of a trophy and level list that have been stated outdated by a dev on the US PS forums. Not guaranteed there will be more but this is all just speculation right now.

That was pretty brutal at the end with 7 vs 13 on BG. I couldn't get my orientation at all and kept getting taken out by rockets or shotguns shortly after spawning - I think that may have been one of my worst games since shortly after starting the beta. Sorry for the team kills in that match. I picked up the rocket and (twice) just as I let it off someone ran in front of me.

TTP, if you want some more captures you should try spectator.

Alright guys, thanx for the games. The first 2 were really good I thought.

It was quite disconcerting to see gaffers lying abut the place, bleeding and dying... reminded me of NPD day!

Had a blast, nice finale-ish to the beta. Will be playing 2moro tho :D

Geez, I have put more hours into this beta then I have most retail purchases. At this point I have to buy the game even if I never play it.

They really need to nerf the rocket launcher in the final game. I have no problem with the sniper since it takes some skill, but the way KZ2 works with quick spawning, it's way too easy for people to rocket whore. They get their 1 kill, die, rinse, repeat. It's just stupid.

I hope they take it out or limit it.

If they want to keep the Rocket Launcher in the game IN SOME FASHION, I suggested having it spawn once when an engineer revives an ammo depot.

Didn't they say they were extending the time in between it take for Medics to use the gun for the final game. maybe that will fix that problem.

Are changes as big as taking the rocket launcher out of the game even up for consideration? Not in beta so I don't have access to the forums, but on the official forums the devs make it sound like the game is pretty much set in stone for the most part.

I unlocked it the first week of the beta, long time ago. :P Using the rocket launcher is lots of fun, but I also find it to be pretty hard. You only get 3 shots, and it's not easy to aim. I don't think it needs nerfing, I'm constantly changing between classes/weapons cause after a while just having 3 shots sucks. :P Extremely fun to use for defend/destroy missions. :)

Taking it out of the game is a completely ridiculous idea, I've never been aggravated by it, even before I unlocked it. :P You're all just pussies.

I don't see why they wouldn't be out of consideration.

It's an easy tweak, that's for sure.

I think when they say the game is set in stone, they're talking about art assets, level design, things like that.

Removing the rocket launcher would do wonders for the game and be a pretty easy fix.

Well 3 shots is more than enough. Especially with the assault class having the boost pill.
People who use rocket launcher are just trying to get as many kills as fast as they can and then die..respawn...rush to same area and blow up everybody else. If they survive, they just pick up another weapon and try to get a few more kills.

Why not? They get points no matter what happens to you. Again, they need to add a command for the target player to confirm before they are revived.
 
More than some retard reviving you in the middle of the firefight it's the long-fucking-ass standing-up animation with you usually ending up with your back turned to the enemy that kills your ass.

That retard helps, no doubt.

The game rewards them for griefing you. They need to add a controllable element to stop this. I suggested one. People are always going to be stupid. That can't be fixed. Adding a confirmation prompt most certainly will.

If you're facing the right way it's less of a problem, still there are too many fucking idiotic mother-fucking cocksuckers. Once in a while I play with a good team and it feels like a HUGE difference.

The thing is, they're not actually stupid. They are helping themselves immensely. Well, I guess you have to weigh the benefit of the extra res points vs. the match bonus (if any) for winning. Perhaps you could comment on the issue.

You should be blaiming GG on this one more than anything.
 
why would a 'confirm' button be better than giving a dying player an 'end self' button? in my opinion, letting a player on the ground kill himself is the perfect solution, and it's also the easier solution.

Depends on the implementation I suppose. If it's instant then that is perfectly acceptable. A mix of both would be nice as well (I suggested this in an earlier post). If you can't end yourself really quickly, you run the risk of still being revived against your will. Also, especially on non-teamkill servers, I can see intentianal griefing/point farming between someone on your team and the other team if it takes a second or two to kill yourself.

I'm not really a big fan of "wait x number of seconds while hoping in vain someone will save you" as I'd rather just respawn and get back into the action.

Either is fine with me. It just needs to be something decided by the player himself, not anyone else.

And ugh on youtube. I love that they've added widescreen and better video clarity, but I can't get any sort of decent d/l rate from them now. And no, it's not my fucking connection.
