Sony has confirmed the Killzone 2 demo will be available later today.

I was thinking the same thing. I would normally say "more" considering it's a console FPS.. But european gamers seem to be pretty pumped for this title.

5pm GMT is in exactly 2 hours from now so just add 2 hours on your EST time and thats when the demo is supposed to be landing.
 
Wow at those Euro numbers. Suddenly, I'm very interested to see the numbers on this. How long before we really know what it did at launch?
 
Ohhhhh well, I'd like to apologize for being completely wrong. I had my time zones mixed up thinking the NA pre-order'ed codes would go active before the EU PSN store.

I will now prepare for high noon EU acct 2mb/s leeching :lol

Are you guys entering the code under your Master Account, or a Sub Account? Sometimes codes (like betas and PSN credits) have to be entered under the Master Account to work. I don't know if this is the case here, but it might be worth trying.

Just noticed that, I wanted to read up on some back story, and that site is slammed.




The hype for this game is ridiculous. I know the Halo 3 hype was unbelievable, but I dont have a 360 so I wasn't a part of this. The Killzone 2 hype is beyond anything I have been a part of, and I am a 32 year old gamer that used to play the old Apples and Atari 2600.


Man the GTA 4 hype was pretty big for a while on these forums and beyond, but this Killzone 2 hype is blowing up like nothing I have ever seen.

I really have trouble believing those numbers honestly. You hardly see that turnout for a sony game worldwide, let alone in a single territory.

Looking at the text of the full error message it looks like perhaps they're overhauling the website in preparation for the demo release.

Oh, btw, it just loaded for me, try it now.
 
So it's going to be out at noon (on the Euro store) for those us steal.....I mean....downloading the demo.

This reminds me so much of the anticipation we all had for the big unveiling. This might be the most anticipated demo ever. :lol

The only other time I was this excited is when we got the COD4 demo on the 360. That was just pure beauty.

Nice game btw. Grabbing it as soon as I get home. I hope that the servers are not dead by the time I arrive home.
