Killzone Shadow Fall - Ultra High Bitrate MP Footage

Finished downloading.

Wow!

1MB per frame.

Nice.

Even after BF4, this game can stand toe-to-toe, which is might impressive. Obviously, the former looks better, but it's still very impressive what Guerrilla has done.

Downloading, even though my crap computer will probably die trying to play this. I'll just watch on my phone. Dat 1080p display.

Anyway, GIFs, I need them!

Narrow field of view? That one is off the shopping list then, I'd planned to pick it up on ebay. Does that affect just the MP or SP too? I get horrendously motion sick on zoomed in games, couldn't play Halo at all.

Sadly, it's a burden most console FPS share, due to hardware restriction and the fact that you play console on a TV (far from the screen) so a narrow field of view makes more sens to catch a better glimpse at enemies in the distance. To compare to a PC monitor where you are really close to the screen, it makes more sens to have a larger Fov.

When this KZ video opened on my monitor, I had to roll my chair a meter away to not get motion sick. I haven't played a console FPS in a year or so, but I play tons of PC FPS and yeah, it feels really narrow. I guess I'll adjust quickly but there nothing we can do

This will work on PS3, you just need to remux into MP4.

Looks way too much like Killzone 3 for me to get excited to play it.

Do you have a recommendation for how to remux it? I can never find anything that works on an old Mac for that sort of thing.

Graphically nothing special (compared to what you can get on PC right now). Looks fun enough I suppose but all I could think about the whole time watching was how low the FOV was.

This looks amazing. Can't wait to play the different game modes. So it looks like the finally delivered and gave us the video we wanted.

Off topic now we just need that damn UI walkthrough and all will be good.

Looks very nice, but I'm watching on a screen that's barely above 720p, so I'm not really getting the full experience.

I do like the HUD, it's very minimal and isn't obtrusive.

edit: I could do without the XP popups though. FIX THAT SHIT GG!

Game is gorgeous and smooth enough I'd say. If it looks this good on my monitor, then it'll look damn good on my TV. Fuck, let me try that now, lol.

Looks decent. FOV is terrible though, not sure I could handle that in multiplayer.

Looks on par with Battlefield 4 on Ultra, perhaps slightly better textures on the character models.

Hah, what? I was going to say it looked similar to BF4 running on medium but didn't want a bunch of people yelling at me.

Saw the footage. The game is DEFINITELY 60 smooth FPS.

Footage was very plain though. Mostly consisted of seeing 3-4 enemies, but only 1 at a time, so it's not like you see explosions everywhere and enemies coming left and right.

If I was getting a PS4 at launch, this would be the game I would buy. Also I agree with other people, don't use VLC. For me VLC made the video choppy.

I don't know if you'd call blops2 narrow or not, but the field of view in that I find perfectly comfortable on the 360, but Halo 3 I actually had to turn off after 10 minutes.
